One of the largest and most valuable spots on the Little River. This property has 120+ feet of Little River frontage on just under an acre. Set up for a maximum of 4 guests, this river paradise is ideal for the mountain getaway on the most scenic river in the Smokies! Includes a 2BR River Cottage (650 sq ft), 16x24 Covered Outdoor Pavilion, Front and Back Porches, and an outdoor bathhouse. Plenty of room for parking, easy parking for motorcycle trailers or RVs!

🏠 THE COTTAGE
Moon River is an adorable, completely remoted riverfront cottage! The highlight of your stay is the 640 Square Feet of Indoor Living space and nearly an acre to enjoy directly on the Little River. The private outdoor pavilion is an on-the river paradise with a picnic table, kitchen sink, countertops, sitting hammock, a picnic table, and a bar (with 4 bar stools) overlooking the Little River. There is also a BBQ grill.

There is an outdoor bathhouse that is convenient for guests outdoors to quickly use a separate bathroom without entering the Cottage. The bathhouse is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, and plenty of room for changing or extra storage space for any river items or outdoor games that won`t fit in the cottage.

There are two chairs on the rear porch along with a privacy wall constructed between you and the closest neighbor. This is one of the only properties on the Little River that has this much space to roam, park, and have access to so much river. It is also one of the only river properties that does not have a direct view of highway 321 on the opposite side of the river. It is a truly unique space!

This kitchen is equipped with basic necessities. Dishes, silverware, cookware, cooking, and grilling utensils are all provided. There is also a dining table just off the kitchen that seats 4.

In addition to the above, there is high-speed internet/Wi-Fi. The TV is a smart TV with access to Netflix and other streaming apps. There is a DVD player if you would like to bring some movies along with you. This kitchen is equipped with basic necessities. Dishes, silverware, cookware, cooking, and grilling utensils are all provided.

The most unique and cutest spot on the Little River. If you value space and privacy and then​ you will absolutely LOVE your stay at the Moon River Cottage.

The property was in a quiet area. I chose this property for the river. I was very disappointed to find the river is not accessible without extreme caution. Big rocks are all along the property line and the neighbors have clearly posted No trespassing to enter the river on their side.

The Host does NOT respond once it is the day of check in. The place was disgusting. Trash left, one bedroom was dirty, the toilet is not stable- wobbly, You can absolutely not get down to the river unless you want to climb bolders. The neighbors clearly have it posted No Trespassing. This could use a very thorough deep clean.the couch Stained, the rugs stained.Pictures are Very deceiving. Pet friendly was nice- but no place to let them run. But the level of filth was insane- zero communication.

This was the relief from a baseball tournament that we needed. Super quiet and made it easy to relax. Wish we had more time to play in the river, do some grilling, and maybe have a fire! Regardless, when we play ball in Maryville this will be our go-to place to stay!!

Not enough comfortable seating in living room, need chair with ottoman or recliner.. Sofa was dirty. The exterior needs pressure washed molded and dirty, pavilions was infested with spiders we could not use it, sinks were stopped up. Bath house had raw sewage backed up in the shower and floor. I cleaned it up the best I could but had no bleach to sanitize it so we could not use it. There were no path to the river, the banks were covered with huge rocks and briers.

Three adult women for a girl trip… lots of nature, the flowing river was our favorite part-took chairs to the outside covered area and basically stayed there under the fans with coffee or beer or wine depending on the time! No noise other than the low ripple of the river. The inside was lightly decorated in mountain decor and the space was comfortable. We all said we’d like to return together or with family. Great small space… bring your coffee the pot is waiting for you!

Trash was everywhere trash can was full and stunk there was no easy access to the water the grill in the pictures was not there and the fire pit was full of trash and around it. The bathhouse lights did not work.

Great lil stay! In a good location

The place is in a quiet neighborhood, the view of the little river is beautiful, and easy location to visit west side of the Smokey National park. The house is modest but clean, and the kitchen is surprisingly well stocked. The tvs are good and lastly the outdoor porch and set up is awesome!

This place could have been a more enjoyable experience had the owner provided steps down to the water. The picture of the river and bank is misleading. In pic, it looks like it’s easy to get to water;however, the bank of river is covered in big randomly placed rock that anybody could easily break an ankle. My dad and step mom got to where they didn’t want to go down to river anymore due to the obstacle course to get to it and get back up. I feel if that’s your main selling feature, there also needs to be safety features as well (like flagstone steps, or even a better arrangement of the current rocks) and be fully transparent on the accessibility of getting to water, not pictures that make it look like it’s easy to make it to the water, so that was disappointing. The water itself is great. Shallow enough for littles but also some deeper spots to wade in some The detached patio is nice with the grill and seating with view of water. I did ask a couple of questions which were ignored. I did love that it’s pet friendly, and the view of the river was great. Also, shower had great pressure and great hot water. location to grocery store and gas station is great as well. The accessibility to the water needs to be worked on.

Great spot!

The only reason I'm giving this place a less than perfect review is because there were dirty. I mentioned them to the owner, who assured me that it would be resolved for future guests. This house is great, on a beautiful property! We really enjoyed the outdoor pavilion and swimming in the river. It's about a half hour to Cades Cove, where we saw a few bears! I definitely recommend this spot.

Check in with terrible or codes went right The cleaning people was there was not expecting people to come the whole place was nasty had a odor in it the toilet wobbled kitchen chair almost collapsed on my lady I got bit in the face by some bug on the couch The driveway was awful to get in and out never will rent anything else from there A horrible weekend me and my lady made the best we could of it
