Vintage Vero Bungalow II

Vintage Vero Bungalow II (VVB2) is our adjacent property with the original Vintage Vero Bungalow. We’re located at the entrance of the serene and quaint Rock Ridge Subdivision in old South Vero Beach.

We have done a lot of painting and updating recently including remodeling the porch to accommodate those who wish to spend time outdoors in a nice screened in area.

-Only 2 miles (6 minutes) from the beach
-One of the nicest areas of old Vero Beach
-The neighborhood is near the best restaurants and shopping...some which are walking distance
-The neighborhood is in a quiet area near the main roads

Please text or call us through VRBO if you need something or have a problem with our home.

The TV is a Smart TV which means it works with any media apps you have at home or on your phone.
Apps like Amazon Prime, YouTube, Netflix, Paramount+, HULU etc are what Smart TV's are designed to interface with.
If you want local channels there are several apps which have a free trial. Fubo is one offering 7 days after which you can cancel.

The house was very clean and tidy. The host, Stephen and his wife Cindy were there for sny issues or just questions. I picked this place because of the closeness to everything around. Very pleased and WILL be back next year. Again thank you very much for making my family and my stay an enjoyable one for years to come with the memories that were made.

Check in was easy. Communication with host was clear and prompt. The host was very helpful and answered all questions. The property was lovely, spacious, and conveniently located in the heart of the city. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood. The property was very well supplied with all the kitchen equipment needed to prepare full meals. The beds were comfortable and we slept well at this quiet location. The property had comfortable chairs and sofa.

Convenient location

My girls and I spent several nights here and enjoyed the convenience of the location to everything Vero, especially the beaches. Super clean, busy road, but quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended and affordable stay.

Absentee owner

Sent 2 emails and got no reply, day before checking in I called so I can get my check in instructions. Place is very dated. One key didn’t work, reclining couch did not recline, window in shower looked out over neighbor yard, to say the bathroom was small is an understatement. Very musty smell. The owner Stephen stated he has not been to vero in a very long time and it certainly shows!!

Admittedly, breaking my dominant hand with therapy 3x week is no excuse for missing your email. I sincerely apologized and made sure you knew where the key was. There are two doors with two keys so of course both keys wouldn’t work on the front door. Our house is in an old neighborhood. The photos are exactly how it looks. A Jack and Jill bathroom between two bedrooms is not large. We have one of the nicest back yards where seeing another house is pretty common. Our home was cleaned the day before you arrived. And yes, I haven’t been able to go to Florida for a few months and when I do I will sit and enjoy the recliner. Sincerely, Steve Sawyer

Pleasant Visit

Thank you for letting us stay at the VRBO. We had a great stay in Vero beach. The AC works great! 75 was comfortable the whole time! The floors were clean and the beds/furniture were clean, sturdy, and comfortable. I was impressed with the variety and abundance of pillows. Thank you! The person who was here putting final touches on the place was extremely kind and helpful. Miedra (I think that was her name) had a lot of local knowledge. There were a few interesting quirks that made me leave 4 as opposed to 5 stars but I think the owners will work on it as this is a newer VRBO. The hot water worked, but it was fickle and you really had to troubleshoot with the knobs in the shower to get the hot water. The wifi was spotty and the kitchen drain was backed up.

Dear Nancy, Every photo show our home as it is. All the amenities listed are there. There is a large beautiful back yard. All we knew was that our cleaning lady said the shower curtain was destroyed by what appeared to be a dog. No pets are allowed. The guests before you mentioned nothing about missing amenities, a back yard that somehow disappeared or the location. The shower curtain has been replaced. We wish you the best. You said, “ The location is unsuitable, very busy, with no backyard and no amenities. We left after 5 days. Honestly, we would have appreciated it if this had been mentioned beforehand. Very, very disappointed.”
