It was a wonderful time we spent at this very special and quiet paradise, the property is amazing and such a nice surrounding, very close to lovely Egyuliere and Saint Remy and the nice villages of Moussane and Paradou, thank you to Paola who looked after us so carefully, we hope to cone back some day!
Perfect house in ProvenceWe were a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 young adults (ages 26-28). The setup of the house was just what we needed for our family and gave everyone space. We absolutely LOVED the house, it is so beautiful inside and out and the view stunning, quintessential Provence! The house was very well-equipped, we needed for nothing. I love to cook and entertain and was very impressed with how well the kitchen and dining were stocked. The pool is beautiful and situated with a view of the mountains. There are also many great covered areas to enjoy eating outside and we used them most nights. The house is on a stunning property surrounded by the Alpilles Mountains on one side and vineyards on the other and it is a close drive to Paradou, Maussane, and Saint-Remy. It is located in the town of Eygalieres, but not in town itself, just a 5 minute drive down the road, which made the property quiet and what we liked. The town has lots of great little cafes and restaurants and shops, everything we needed. Our host, Vero, was very responsive to anything we asked or needed. Paola met us on the first day, was so sweet to work with, and was always available to help us, if needed. We will definitely be back to this house to stay and highly recommend it!
We stayed at the villa for a week. Location is stunning and so are the views. The property though is not professionally managed so there were things that had to be improved:1. The key with gate remote control given to us had a dead battery and when I requested the house manager to get me batteries so we can actually be able to get access to the house, the owner texted me telling that I will need to pay the house manager the hourly rate since I asked her to run an errand. After I explained that it is her duty to give me a functioning key, she seemed to understand.2. Upon our return from a walk on the second day, there was a dead mouse in the hall way. Disgusting to say the least. When I contacted the owner about dead mouse removal, she said « it is a country house, what do you expect! Just remove it ». 3. Mice droppings in the kitchen next to sink, which means there is no deep cleaning being done.4. House is marked with AC but AC is only in living room and master bedroom. When I asked for fans, I was told just to keep the doors closed during the day. It was excruciatingly hot even at nights. We found one fan but it was 10 of us. 5. Dishwasher was disgustingly dirty inside and did not clean dishes. We mostly washed everything by hand because of that.In summary, beautiful location, but a house that needs proper care and management.
Fantastic stay at beautiful home - phenomenal location. Would highly recommend.
The property is extremely well appointed and laid-out. Virtually all the rooms have their own personal space which really makes a difference when you a large group. The location takes a huge amount of beating and the view is fantastic.
Great local area with vineyards around the corner, great hikes, bikes and much more.
Wouldnât look any further for the next trip!
