We had a wonderful stay! The unit was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed, We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Overall a nice stay in great location. The Apartment is clean but needs minor repairs. easy checkin and responsive host. Car parking is available on street. best value for money.

Property was great. Everything was brand new very clean. Kitchen and everything was fully stocked with all amenities. Owner was very helpful. Made it very easy.

Liked-close to amenities like restaurants -spacious, quiet, price was right Didn’t like. No designated parking. One evening I had to drop my family off and park 2 blocks away and walk back to the unit. It was not well cleaned and in disrepair. Walls were dirty, bathroom fan was caked in dust and mold around the faucet in the tub. No extra towels or blankets, and towels were not in good condition. My son sat in a chair in the kitchen and it fell apart. Bed in main bedroom had a very bad dip in the middle of the mattress and was uncomfortable. The place need some TLC Wouldn’t stay again.

Although the price is good compared to hotels in the area and the unit is spacious we did not have a positive experience overall. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived and instead of offering to clean it, the host left cleaner outside the front door. The walls are very dirty and rough and the main bed sags in the middle so is very uncomfortable for 2 people. The listing says the unit sleeps 5 with 2 queens and a single mattress. The single is a trifold foam that is gross looking with no bedding or pillow provided. The one night we arrived home at 10:30 ready to go right to bed with an early morning soccer game ahead. Unfortunately, the family upstairs (who was the owner) was hosting a party with kids and adults. The kids were running around screaming and yelling in the suite next to us and sounded as if they were in the room with us. Earplugs did nothing. Finally at 11:45pm I messaged the host and asked if there wasn't a quiet time and let him know we had to get up early and were not impressed at all with what was happening. I heard the kids being asked to go outside, however, the party continued for another half hour until finally it ended after midnight. A certain amount of respect and responsibility has to come with renting out a basement suite and this was definitely not evident. We do not recommend this VRBO suite.

Had an excellent stay at this VRBO. Easy access and great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend this to family and friends who will be visiting this summer!

No communication from host. Had to ask to enter suite and get entry code from home resident. Parking not convenient No supplies for dishwasher No extra paper towels or toilet paper Host forgot that stay was extended one day and double booked. We were not able to contact host through Expedia or verbo. Verbo was able to correct double booking issue Sidewalk at steps to basement uneven and fall hazard Garden hose was placed across the railing at entrance steps at night and could not be seen. The cleaning lady was friendly

The kitchen hardly had any utensils, if the dishes werent in the dishwasher they were dirty. Half the tools were rusted and a few of them were falling apart. The trash can was already full and smelled rotten when i checked in and they gave only two small sized bags for the rest of my stay.

There are accessibility issues in accessing the basement suite. Great care needs to be taken in navigating through the private back yard of this new house, down the stairs with handrails missing at the bottom run, and a very high threshold at the door. If arriving at night, a flashlight is needed. Noise transfer from the living quarters above may be an issue as is a very squeaky (although apparently new) bed. Otherwise very clean, fresh, and pleasant suite at a decent price.

The only benefit staying was it was close to our destination. The house was not cleaned, bed frame was squeaky and mattress was over used. Dirty bedding, washroom door and shower door was broken, only one toilet roll was available for our entire 4 day stay for the family of four. Poor communication with the manager as we left the property at 5 am he emailed at 11 to dispose the garbage regarding the additional fee that was charged.

Just okay

This stay was a mixed bag. Positives:They let us check in a bit early, which was nice. The kitchen was modern and spacious. It had the amenities listed. Negatives:The gate to enter was very nondescript and hard to find. We had to bother the person in the attached house, because we felt weird about going in the backyard. Maybe add signage or a lock with a code?There were exposed wires coming out of the wall in entryway. Not safe for kids. Hole in the wall by fridge. Broken chair in the dining area. Bedding was dirty/smelly. Toaster broken (left side smoked without any bread in it). Shower glass was missing. When you slide one side, it exposed the whole other side and shower spray could escape. We originally booked this listing with full disclosure that we would be bringing one small dog. The listing provided as an amenity that it was dog friendly. It never said that there would be an extra cleaning charge for bringing a pet. However, before check out, we were charged an extra 25 pet cleaning fee.I definitely won’t be staying here ever again and I would not recommend that anyone else stay here either until they get all of these issues worked out.
