Enjoyed our stay. Close to restaurants, beach, St. Armand's Circle. Roomy home, great for cooking and grilling, with a nearby park for walking the dog.
The property is very spacious and clean. It is very close to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. The owner is very kind and easy to contact.
The area is beautiful and the beaches were great! We had a wonderful time and the accessibility to everything was amazing. We would definitely come back.

The property was just as advertised. Plenty of room for visits from friends and family. The beach was nice and never really crowded. We would love to rent again but no dates are available. We really did enjoy our time here.
This property is clean and well maintained. The layout worked great for family members to spread out as well as be together for meals or playing cards. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals. The location is good with access to the gulf side beach with in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!!

House was very nice and in a nice location. The jacuzzi was definitely a plus! Walking distance to the beach. Communication with host was great as well.
Property was as pictured. It was comfortable, in a great location, close to beach access, and clean (which is very important to me). The listing states king bed, however there were 2 queens, a double and 2 twins, so since we are used to our king mattress at home, we were a little disappointed in that. We rented this house anticipating our children and grandchildren would come visit for a time, however due to school schedules and so forth, that did not happen. The house definitely would have accommodated them as there is plenty of space. Backyard was nice and private and we enjoyed sitting there on several windy days we had in March. Kitchen utensils were plentiful. John, the property manager, responded immediately to any questions or minor issues we had during our 5 week stay.
My family and I stayed during the week of Christmas and we absolutely love the house. Plenty of room for my family. The kitchen was perfect for cooking Christmas dinner and we slept like babies in the very comfortable beds. We had Christmas dinner outside in the sun. We love the short walk to the beach and John was awesome helping us with any of our needs. I would defenetly recommend staying at this beautiful beach house, in fact we hope to come back next Christmas. Scott & Kelly
We enjoyed our stay ad we were with friends but were disappointed with some things with the house. Carpets are very dirty with multiple stains, lampshades are falling apart and need replaced, shower in one bathroom not working properly on arrival. Towels missing in one bathroom and were found unwashed in washer. Dining room chair seats were in need of cleaning.
Owner was responsive in coming over and fixing shower and replacing one lampshade. TV service was limited which he tried to assist with but we had trouble with it throughout our stay..

We had a fabulous stay. The house was comfortable and spacious accommodating us wonderfully. The whole area is gorgeous, so near the beautiful beach and just a very short walk from the great âHarryâsâ restaurant. The owner, John, was very speedy to answer any questions.

Was looking for a beach trip on a reasonable budget and this home filled the bill! Short walk to the beach, clean house exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed, including a nice hot tub out back. Great communication with the owner. 10/10 would recommend.
We have rented this property for several years and enjoy the location and proximity to the beach, St. Armands, and Anna Marie Island. It. Is equipped with kitchenware, barbecue grill, and a nice backyard. It is close to restaurants, shopping, Coquina Beach, and walkable neighborhoods.
We have stayed here for the month of December 4 of the past 5 years. It has been a wonderful family holiday vacation and our 4 grandsons have had a great time as well. The hot tub and the backyard patio and furniture are a great addition and much appreciated by my entire family. We also make great use of the outdoor shower!
We have been staying here for several years. We enjoy cooking, so having a kitchen and grill are important to us, but Harryâs Kitchen, Euphemia Hayes, Lazy Lobster, and The Blue Dolphin are in walking distance. Harry also has a deli two doors down with salads, meals, sandwiches, and desserts. The beach is a short walk across the street. Coquina Beach is a short drive where thereâs a market on Wednesday and Sunday. St Armandâs, Bridge Street, and Anna Marie are also nearby. You can find shopping and many restaurants on the Key. The home has 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large living room and den. John is planning to add a screened area for a jacuzzi. The bedrooms include two with queen beds, one double, and twins. It also includes a pack n play and high chair. Outside has several lawn chairs. A laundry room is also available next to the home. You have to go outside to use it, but it is not inconvenient. Beach toys, chairs, and fishing gear is in a storage room at the back of the house. If you enjoy charcoal cooking, an outside grill is in the back as well, We enjoy walking, and there are many areas to walk including the Joan Durante nature park next door.
Centrally located to everything with plenty of space for everyone with the 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Soaker tub in 3rd bath is lovely but a shower would have been more functional. Owner is very responsive to inquiries.

Upholstery furniture is torn and unsightly and property needs general TLC. There is no public access to beach within walking distance. We were told to walk thru condo property across the street and say that we were on "saint judes". Fortunately, we were never stopped.
Owner was attentive to our request for extra toilet paper and trash bags - both should have been in rental and he dropped them off when requested (kinda awkward to have to request tho!)
Island was great but we won't stay at this property again.
We stayed 4 days, 3 nights in August 2015. This property was everything I expected from a rental at this price point. The pictures posted with this listing accurately represent the property. The house was spacious enough for the 8 adults in our party and was nice and clean. We were very happy with the selection of pots and pans in the kitchen; there were plenty of plates, cups, etc. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Management responded promptly to our (minor) concerns while we were on-site.
The beds did not have top sheets or blankets â just fitted sheets and the comforters pictured â but we were able to find the extra linens without a problem.
The house is listed as a 2 bathroom, but the description in the listing includes 3 â I would consider this 2.5 bathrooms, as the 3rd has a tub that is not outfitted with a proper shower head or curtain.
Off-steet parking is limited to 2 cars, probably 3 if you squeeze smaller vehicles in the driveway, which could be a problem for parties of 8. We were able to make it work.
I removed one star from the rating for the following two reasons:
1. The property did not have extra TP, which I considered standard for a rental.
2. The beach is œ block from the property, but this access is privately owned by the beachfront condos. You are crossing private property to access the beach, and we did meet with one unhappy owner on one of our three trips to the beach. According to beach access points listed online, the nearest public access is just over 1 mile from this property.
We rented this home for the month of February, 2015. Starting with the "Good": This private home is used by family when they come to Longboat Key. The location is great, short walk to Bay or to the beach. The layout is good, especially the private suite. It is located on a quiet street with great neighbors. Bathrooms and kitchen, mattresses, ceiling fans in all rooms, internet access, all are good. The "Bad": Cookware in kitchen is old and worn, no outlet in suite bathroom, sink doesn't drain, TV's are dated, furniture is living room and sitting room is worn and torn. Several light bulbs were burnt out. Some window treatments need to be replaced. The "Ugly": The house was not clean. Dead bugs, crumbs all over, most windows would not open, screens torn. I spent 4 days cleaning it. I paid $150 cleaning fee and it was clearly not cleaned. There is way too much clutter in all the rooms: 2 vacuum cleaners that don't work, dresser drawers and closets full of Christmas wrapping, shopping bags, 14 old telephone books (!!), 2 old TV'. The backyard is a mess. Laundry room was dirty and cluttered. The house smelled when we arrived and eventually we realized the garbage disposal was leaking and bowl was placed under it to catch drips, which was what smelled. I realize this is a family home but it needs to be better attended if they plan to rent it out. It has great potential but I wouldn't rent it again unless all these things are addressed.
