We are 35 min. From the entrance to KINGS CANYON & SEQUOIA NATIONAL PARK
The Sequoia Guesthouse is located 38 min. From the entrance to SEQUOIA & KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARK. Our home is on 5 private & beautiful acres. During the day you can see the siera nevada mountain range, and at night you can see the city lights in the valley. Our home was completely renovated with a modern touch, fully equipped with many amenities for your comfort. There are a total of two queen beds, and two twin beds, with extra pillows and blankets for everyone. There is also a large sectional couch that can sleep two people.
My family had a wonderful stay at Brianâs property. It was just what we needed for a getaway and provided easy access to the park. Really enjoyed the wildlife outside and the neighbors livestock was a hoot! The house had everything we needed, the kitchen was well stocked and the house clean and tidy.
Fantastic place to stay. A beautiful home with stunning views.
Very clean and spacious property, so well equipped. The garden area was fantastic and full of wildlife. The cherry tree was an added bonus making a wonderful fruit breakfast every day. To top it all off, a week of great weather made it a great place for access to the National Park. The drive into the park was a very pleasant and easy drive each day, with stunning scenery. We will definitely recommend and when we next visit the US, will look to stay again.
Very close to kings canyon entrance. Great stay after a day of hiking. House is very clean and host clearly puts a lot of work into making place clean and enjoyable. I recommend staying here!
We had a fabulous time both indoors and outdoors, two decks and three outdoor sitting areas. Lots of sun and a very quiet neighborhood. There's a fully stocked kitchen and the beds a SUPER comfortable. Easy access to the Sequoias too.
The property was ideal for a quick, cozy getaway to the Sierras. The check in process was easy and amenities were just what we were hoping for. The large bathtub was especially nice after a day of hiking. Despite the remote location, Internet reception and TV options were great. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.
This property was perfect for my husband and me. The owners were so responsive and it was the perfect location to get to and from King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. There isn't a grocery store nearby so you'll definitely need to stop earlier than you anticipate, but I can't even call that a complaint because the stay was truly delightful.
A cute gem in Kings Canyon! A bit far from places but overall, nice and clean, and the host had some snacks there which was so nice of them to leave. We enjoyed the guest book. The check in process was super easy and quick- it was good considering the long drive from Yosemite. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, would stay here again and will definitely refer others here. Thanks for the great stay!!
The property manager was super helpful. Host was amazing, friendly, and helpful as well. There was one tiny issue that was addressed immediately. Awesome place for a nice, quiet getaway.
Great little place that is stocked with essentials, and more. The road up to the place is pretty squiggly, so keep that in mind if you get car sick! I had to be the driver in the area to avoid it. Because of the roads, it took a little longer for us to go to dinner on our first night and to get to the parks, so keep that in mind.We brought a lot of our own breakfast food, but did notice there is some easy food stuff like pancake mix in the cabinets, possibly from past guests, which is nice. Full spice rack and Keurig (which my parents were excited about). Beds were comfortable.Bathroom had body wash and shampoo and conditioner, which I appreciate. There is even stuff for a bath if you'd like one. If you have seniors in your party, just know the steps are very steep and the tub is very large to get into. Wonderful stay, thank you!
Had a very comfortable two nights here. We were traveling from Kings Canyon / Sequoia and although it was kind of a long ride, there aren't too many options east of the parks. The bed was super comfortable and everything was really nice. Snacks were available. We also ate at Gena's Place in Dunlap, which was recommended by several of the guests that had signed the guest book!
We did not know what to expect but once we entered the home, was sooo nice and cozy †Brian gave us tips of locations to eat and was readily available, super nice. Had a basket with water, chips and granola bars, nice touch!
Great modular home, beautiful kitchen, comfy beds, fabulous soaking tub, very well stocked
Stayed for a weekend for the Fresno Safari archery shoot. Host was warm and responsive. Beautiful Kitchen was well stocked, no dish washer but we didnât care. Bathrooms too were well stocked to take advantage of a deep soak tub. Beds were super comfy!! Will book again next year!! Checkout was super easy!! Put the key back in the lock box and double check you havenât left behind!! Thanks Brian
The outside doesnât do the inside justice. This place is so clean and has everything. The owner obviously takes a lot of pride in this house and should. Everything is clean and modern. They provide a ton of good quality towels. Kitchen utensils pans and even leave a few staples. Gas stove. No dishwasher but there are paper products if you donât want to wash. Good bedding. The tub was huge if you like a bath and the shower had good pressure and got hot. Glad we stayed here.
I have to be completely honest and state that I never made it to the actual property⊠but what I can tell you about is the owner. They were completely understanding and fast to respond to all my questions. My husband and I had issues on our way there and we were within minutes of checking in had to leave. If you love the mountain, off the grid peace and quiet this is the place for you. The locals were very friendly and willing to help. Tips for people traveling from the south, I would recommend putting in a city to the West for instructions on how to find the house; example Fresno or Sanger just so you can see how to get in from 180. Unless you like the thrill of driving up the mountains. The instructions are much simpler and more direct. If I find myself in CA again, I would rent again.
