Very clean, nice location, comfortable beds, kitchen was beautiful. Maria the host was extremely responsive,,,the bathroom is extremely small but usable...all in all a great place to stay in Seward
We had a fun stay in the camper over the July 4th weekend. The rv has plenty of accommodations for an enjoyable experience in a quiet neighborhood. Itâs located about 10 minutes from downtown seward. Just note that cell reception is poor and no wifi, which we didn't realize beforehand.
The RV was just as described. everything was clean and Maria happily supplied a set of bedding for the sofa bed for our family of 5. There is also some basic pantry supplies (some spices, foil, Saran Wrap) and firepit skewers that helped make meal prep easy. We appreciated how quickly Maria answered questions about the RV and the area around Seward.
We are 3 long time friends from Florida, Georgia and Alaska respectively. We were glad to arrive and find the RV so clean and cozy. Everything was well thought out and provided for. We took the half day Major Marine tour and had a wonderful time. Our hosts were congenial and hospitable. A great time for us all. PS the can of salmon was great!
I stayed for only 2 nights, but it was perfect for peace and quiet I needed for my quick trip. Location is only a 5 min drive to Seward so very convenient to stores and restaurants. Maria was quick to respond to questions and very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend and I will rent again next time. Thank you, Maria!
This camper was a great option for our busy schedule - we weren't spending much time there as we were mostly out and about adventuring but it was cozy and clean and a great place to drop our stuff. Our only issue was not being aware we weren't supposed to bring any fish into the camper (even just to rinse off and put into the freezer) as that part of the rules was hidden on the site and we didn't see it posted anywhere else. But otherwise a great place to stay.
This camper was exactly what we needed! Close to Seward but far enough out of town to have the true Alaskan feel. We ended up changing our Alaska honeymoon trip itinerary after we arrived to the state & needed a last minute place to stay. We came across this camper & stayed 2 nights.
The owner was so sweet & even got us champagne and a card to congratulate us!
100% recommend this!
Our family really enjoyed our stay! The camper was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The kitchen utensils and amenities made it easy to prepare our own meals, which helped us save money on travel costs. (The local grocery store had a great selection and prices were very reasonableâcomparable to Anchorage.)The beds were more comfortable than anticipated, and we really appreciated having access to a hot shower. The fridge and freezer were also larger than expected, which made food storage super convenient. The camper itself is very nice and well-maintained. Personally, Iâd probably come back just with my husband next time, as I found myself a little nervous with young kids aroundâonly because I didnât want them to accidentally damage anything. Thatâs totally understandable with any rental, though.Overall, it was a great experience. The host was responsive and helpful, and weâd definitely consider returning. Thank you for a lovely stay!
We moved from Florida to Alaska in 2018. We love to fish, hike and camp. But most of all we love to host family and friends year round, showing them the beauty of Alaska.
Located not far from the "snagging hole" where you can try your hand at snagging "reds" in late May/early June or "Silvers" in late July/Early August. Enjoy a hike down the historic Iditarod trail located less than a mile from the property or a short drive to hike Mt Marathon, Tonsina or Mount Alice.
