Cozy yurt just a short distance to Seward boat harbor and downtown.
If you're wanting something a little different than a hotel room, come stay in our yurt nestled at the back of our property. There are mountain views right outside the door. Located only a short distance to the Seward boat harbor and Kenai Fjords national park. The yurt features a skylight to lay in bed and look out at the sky, electric fireplace, water cooler, coffee maker, as well as a bath house with full size shower, vanity and toilet. Sit out on the deck and relax, or next to the fire.
Perfect cozy yurt for 1-2 people. Very close to everything in Seward, exit glacier, and harbor. Good hot water in the outdoor bathroom and warm heater in the yurt. Host was excellent. Would recommend to anyone staying in Seward.
We loved the yurt! It was so cozy, clean, and relaxing. The bathhouse is right beside it and the facilities are so clean & modern. The yurt is in a quiet location but still so close to town and right of the main road making it super convenient, too.
Our first time visiting Seward, and we stayed in a cozy yurt. And weâd pick the same accommodation again! Modern bathroom just for yurt guests is a few steps outside your door. Youâre hardly a couple miles from downtown Seward.
My best friend traveled with me on this trip,I wanted to see my daughter that moved there in March. We were a bit concerned when hearing howling the first night, but then quickly turned to laughter of âwhat did we get ourselves intoâ. The place was clean, had lots of room, bathroom was clean & very close by. It was a great experience!
Really clean! The bathroom was truly clean and wonderful. The only thing i would want to mention, if youâre not thinking about it like I wasnât, is that a yurt is essentially a tent. There is apparently a kennel or something nearby because the night was filled with tens of dogs all howling in unison as well as general dog barking all night long. Add to that wildlife sounds in general and people opening and closing their car doors in the wee hours plus general road noise. Bring some earplugs. WiFi would have been amazing since there is extremely limited service in the area. If
I hadnât previously downloaded the email with instructions to get in, there was no getting onto the app to find out. I want to reiterate that the hosts were wonderful and the yurt was great.
I was soooo nervous to be staying in a Yurt. Iâm not an outdoorsy/tent type but this was so not like what I pictured. Itâs very spacious and lovely and not at all like what I thought! Owners were wonderful and we were very comfortable!
