One of a kind cozy loft cottage with boat ramp and a magnificent view.

Take in a spectacular view perched on an elevated deck overlooking the water. We think you’ll appreciate the alluring ambiance of this quaint, well appointed cottage that has a lot of character. Sleep in a comfortable queen sized bed in the loft while a sofa bed is available in the main living area. Enjoy the comfort of a screened porch that’s designed to be “the best room in the house”! Bring your boat and use our ramp to put it in and dock it. You’ll have access to both electricity and water from the dock. The dock and the elevated deck are equipped with tables with umbrellas and cushioned chairs to provide you with comfort and all you need to settle in and enjoy the pleasures of being on a dock on a lake! Please note that we have 2 well behaved and adorable male Pomeranians that will be on the premise and that we will respect your willingness to interact with them or not.

Stan and Patti are great hosts with a great location.

This is the second year in a row staying here and it is a great location on the lake and the hosts are very accommodating. We will be back.

Laid back at the lake

Came down for a fishing tournament for our son and had a wonderful relaxing time. House had everything we needed to unplug and take a short break. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Thanks to Stan for getting the broken coffee pot replaced. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous getaway!

Thank you both for hosting us with such a beautiful weekend getaway! The cabin is so very charming. From decor to anything you could need (or may have forgotten), even the smallest details were well thought out. Access to the lake was super easy. We will definitely be staying here again! I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our time at your cabin!

The Essentials for a Great Stay

This quaint and cozy cottage is exactly as advertised. Sometimes, booking through these platforms can leave you a bit uneasy about the condition/location of a property until you get there. Well, I was extremely pleased with our stay! This trip was part of a surprise birthday getaway for my darling husband. It was a moment to pull him away from the city to enjoy peace and quiet. He enjoys fishing, so the convenience of the boat dock and lake right off the yard was a plus. And even though the weather was not conducive to fully enjoying the deck or fishing, we have zero complaints. It rained a couple of times during the weekend f or stay. But the covered porch, portable heater, and lounge furniture made watching the rain over the lake therapeutic.Stan met us upon arrival to greet us and offered assistance with anything we may have needed during our stay. They did not bother us at all, even though they live right next door. We chatted in passing periodically but my husband and I were able to enjoy their beautiful space seemingly exclusively. I even appreciated the thoughtful refreshments water, coffee and creamer upon arrival. The loft is super cute but caution...it is a loft for a reason, lol. I am about 5'8 and I was able to stand straight in the tallest portion of the loft area. However, this wasn't the case for my husband. So, if you are on the taller side, be mindful of how you are moving around up there. Stan/Patti, thanks for everything :)

Felt like a healing retreat <3

I had such a beautiful stay at this lovely cottage. It's so homey and warm, the view of the lake is amazing! Between the amenities, the large Windows pouring in light and the beautiful decor, you can tell that so much Thoughtfulness and love was put into this home. I was lucky enough to meet the neighbors and they are amazing salt of the earth people! Definitely coming back! 10 out of 10 stay! ❤️

Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Swanee cottage! Patti and Stan were absolutely amazing hosts, so kind and hospitable. They truly made us feel welcome in their home. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept and the docks on the lake were so relaxing! We couldn’t have had a better experience. We will be back again for sure! Thank you so much Patti and Stan! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Amazing place!

This property is adorable. We had everything we needed. The hosts were the most accommodating people ever! The house was spotless! The front screened porch was amazing. We could not possibly have hoped for a better trip. A weekend is just too short. We would love a winter booking but not sure if they rent in the wintertime. Wonderful people! Wonderful place!

Great Get Away to Lake Murray

Patti and Stan were absoultuely wonderful. The cottage was perfect for the two of us. The lake was beautiful and we utilized the paddle board and kayaks every morning. Close to many shops and restaurants. Well worth the trip. Thanks for the hospitality Patti and Stan!

Relaxation Supreme

We enjoyed our stay; and the owners with all of their special little touches to the cottage and the atmosphere made it difficult to leave. They provided floats and kayaks that we all enjoyed. Our girls loved playing with Ozzie and Odie. Patti and Stan were so friendly and we loved spending time with them. We even found out we have some mutual friends. We hope to return soon.

Incredible Location and Lodgings!

My friends and I were in the area for a high school reunion and absolutely loved staying here! It’s prime location on the lake, beautiful property and everything is so very clean and wonderful. The property owners are so nice and have the best response time in communicating. Will definitely book again!!!!!

Lake Murray Cottage

Wonderful owners, very friendly and accommodating. Cottage has a beautiful view of the lake and all the amenities we needed. Great fishing on a point about 100 yards away. Weekend was very relaxing, we intend to stay here again in the future.

Perfect cottage with boat ramp and dock

This place was perfect for my wife and I to enjoy her 60th birthday! Pam loves to bass fish and the ramp, dock and easy electrical plug ins made so easy to enjoy it all. Very safe for our equipment and the hosts Patti and Stan were super friendly! She even had birthday signs up for us!

Perfect fishing cabin

Fished a tournament on the lake and this cabin was perfect for my brother and I. The ramp and dock in the backyard made launching the boat a breeze each day.
