You will love this cozy bungalow! Two bedrooms are on the first floor with a huge bedroom on the second floor. Located just minutes from the beach in a quiet, family oriented location. This home sits conveniently behind a corner store that sells hot food and adjacent to a shopping center with, pet services, restaurants, and even a salon. Huge backyard with a cozy but tranquil patio to enjoy the beautiful Erie Summer and fall. Our bungalow is pet friendly so your fur baby can come along. Property has 24/7 security.
Cute and Clean house. Listing very accurate regarding what was on the premises and provided for use. Jesse even provided seasonal flavored coffee pods for us to choose from! As others have stated the driveway is narrow, but that is not anything that can be changed - just be aware of it. Check-in and checkout process was seamless.
The house was clean and conveniently located, close to Presque Isle State Park and other attractionsâwithin walking distance of Maria's Ice Cream. However, there was no dresser for storing clothes, and the door on the driveway side didnât open. The upstairs area got quite hot and had a window AC unit. The first floor of the house had a Nest thermostat; if you were out all day, it would be warm when you returned and take some time to cool down. Jess, the host, was very responsive.
Our group of 8 adults and kids came to Erie to visit Waldameer and Presque Isle Beaches. Both are just a short drive from this homeâs location. Driveway fit both SUVs. It was mentioned in another review about lack of seating. While there were only 3 chairs in the kitchen, there were several âTV Tray Tablesâ we used to gather and have dinner in the living room. Thereâs a washer and dryer in the basement. The home is small with minimal decor, but the beds and furniture were comfortable and we had all we needed for a fun little getaway. The description was accurate, host was friendly (although we had no issues or need to reach out), and it was an affordable stay for our group. Thanks, Jesse!
Home was clean and ready for our stay. Perfect location for our needs. Came to Erie for a Field Hockey Camp at Mercyhurst & got to enjoy Presque Isle for a few days too. Enough rooms for the teenager & college student to both have their space, and itâs located in a peaceful neighborhood too. Lotâs of restaurant options within a quick drive. Host was quick to answer questions - very respectful, polite, & accommodating. We had a great, relaxing weekend as a family (our dog Bailey included).
My adult kids & I stayed here for a wedding and brought our 20lb dog. It was exactly as noted in the listing. The owner is a GREAT communicator. The only concern was ants in the kitchen but Erie was experiencing record rainfalls the days prior to our stay and record heat during the stay so that's the real culprit not the cleanliness. We would book again.
We stayed here as a family of 7 for 5 nights. It accommodated us all. The shower was incredible and the couch was very comfy. The host communicates very well and quickly. He knew the internet wasn't working before we even before we did and was right on getting it fixed.
We loved staying here !! It was a nice place and close to everything and the host was very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend going there and staying! We will definitely be back!
Gathered with family to visit for a long weekend and needed a central spot to go to and from. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us (including their pup). Thank you for hosting us!
We had a great long weekend staying in Erie. The house was in a convenient location and a nice neighborhood. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our group of 4. The beds were comfortable. Furnishings were simple but priced right. Great value.
Very nice and clean . The beds were amazing best sleep i have got in a long time . About 15 minutes away from all the good fishing holes .10 minutes away from route 5 alot of restraunts .
Grandkids wanted to visit someplace local. Erie Zoo & lake pymatuning spillway was scheduled. Just a weekend getaway for family. Rental is close to everything. Central location for shopping & eats. Beds are comfortable. Great for small family stay. Nice backyard. Rental shows its age.But being under new management, Im sure updates will be coming.
We rented this house for Labor Day weekend so the family could all get together and enjoy the beach and Waldameer. It worked out great for us and the owner was very responsive for any questions we had. Will definitely book again. They have a nice backyard that we didnât get to enjoy due to time restrictions it they have a fire pit, grill, table and chairs out back.
The location was very ideal, stores were in walking distance and there are lots of things to do within a 10 mile radius. The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. The specifications were simple and clear. Odds are if we end up in the Erie area again we would look into this location. It also had a nice yard for the kids to play, and the neighbors were very friendly when our children accidentally kicked a soccer ball over their fence, if you have kids you know how important friendly neighbors are.
Most importantly, comfy beds!
Fantastic air conditioner, great location in a nice neighborhood, ice cream two short blocks away!, small kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal.
The property is very close to I-79 and very convenient to the Zoo, Peninsula, and Bayfront. The neighbors are very friendly. There is a convenience store about a block away and Catholic Church (Blessed Sacrament) right across the street. Although Jesse was on the road, he was available to help me (71 year old non-tech savvy) to manipulate the keypad at the front door. It's a safe neighborhood and I wouldn't hesitate to use this listing again.
