This beautiful home is nestled in Hendrix park, hiking trails behind house. The sunsets are stunning with a coastal range view. Soak in the claw foot tub or take a shower in a spa like bathroom. The place is single level and has central air with A/C. Remodeled and spacious, a great place to gather with family and/or walk to the university to attend seasonal events. * This is a family home 50% of the time. Two children live here during their 50% time with mother. Itâs not a fancy vacation rental but it is clean and smells good. We burn Sage and palo Santo in the house and use natural cedar scented laundry soap. It is a beautiful unique low priced for the area, accommodations. *a labradoodle and 2siamese cats live here. Cats are mostly outside but love company if you do. No events or parties unless approved with extra fee. Please inquire
If you are looking for a perfect girls night away for relaxing & unwinding then this is the spot! I stayed here for the night before my wedding, along with my bridesmaids. We absolutely loved the decor & vibes. Very beautiful home!
It was a lovely place to stay. It had a peaceful feel to it. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to wake up! We only stayed the one night, but it was a very nice stay. I really loved the beautiful artwork, and the cool bathrooms.
The house was just as described and just as presented in the pictures. Everything was very clean and nice. The host was super helpful and very quick with responding. Overall a great experience for our group!
We only stayed one night but we were so comfortable in this sweet house. It is filled with color, artwork, light, and beautiful details everywhere. And so close to great pizza, coffee, ice cream, parks, and the university. Would recommend to anyone needing a spot when visiting campus.
My family (2 adults, 1 infant) and friend (1 adult) rented this property while in town for a home game and it was a great stay in one of our favorite areas for a great price. Eloraâs home is a special place and reminded us all of our own time living in Eugene and what makes the city so special. The home was well stocked and as cozy as you could hope for. She did a great job setting it up for us to stay despite being her own residence and we appreciated the hospitality and her willingness to open her home to us. I will definitely be reaching out the next time weâre in town to see if this property is available!
Itâs a lived-in home as advertised. The photos are accurate. The neighborhood is lovely and the place is shaded by the surrounding trees. The home seemed clean but it was surface-clean (the way you might clean your own house if you didnât do an in-depth cleaning) and some of the kitchen stuff was all jumbled in the drawers and not the cleanest (one drawer broken). Not enough to bother us though, the bathrooms and living room seemed to be cleaned just fine. The patio furniture is in dire need of repair but the inside furniture is great. Games to play for the family and TV with apps. Just be aware that you wonât have a place to hang your clothes but if you donât need to unpack your suitcase, this works just fine. We didnât stay because of an issue (no need to rehash here) but overall for the quality of the rental and the amount of people it sleeps (7), itâs worth considering. One of the kitties came inside to get petted, which the kids loved. While Eugene is not overall a Ritz-Carlton type of town, the neighborhood where this house is located, is amazing and the view is spectacular.
Our stay was very pleasant. The home is pleasant; the decor is a bit unusual, and the access is on narrow, hilly roads. You would not walk there from the U of O campus. The overall feeling was that the owners were not fully committed to temporary guests.
Cute Home with Communicative Owner and Priced Just Right
I needed to drop my bags off early before the Oregon football game and the owner was quick to communicate with me about the early check in process. Every time I messaged her I received a response in less than 24 hours.
The listing was accurate in that this is someone's home. The owner does not stay there when it is rented but there are photographs of the family on the walls and personnel belongings perfectly organized and out of the way. The home was warm and cozy.
The cost of this rental is amazing! You really get a good spot compared to the cost.
Iâm a single mother in school for massage. Renting my beautiful home out to get through school. I stay in my tiny home on the lake near cottage grove when you stay in my âbig houseâ. I really appreciate families staying in my home.
