From the comfort of the cottage, witness the wonder of an Ancient Fishing Weir, which attracts incredible marine life like elephant and harbor seals. Bird enthusiasts will delight in frequent sightings of bald eagles, blue herons, loons, and more. Keep your eyes on the water, and you may even spot orcas gliding through the channel.

Though DRIFT Studio feels like a secluded haven, it’s conveniently located just 40 minutes from Comox Airport and 20 minutes from the resort community of Qualicum Beach.

For those craving adventure, rent a kayak or use one of the two provided paddleboards to explore the shoreline. Fishing enthusiasts can organize a trip from nearby Deep Bay Marina, while the surrounding area offers endless opportunities for hiking, nature watching, and relaxation.

Important Information
Please note that access to DRIFT Studio involves descending approximately 80 concrete steps, most of which lack a handrail. However, a motorized tram is available to assist with luggage transport, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure.
