Clean Cozy Light & Bright Studio in Great Location
Welcome to @MammothPad - A clean & cozy studio condo equipped with all the essentials youâll need in a home base for your Mammoth adventures. I recently renovated/refreshed this condo with comfort, convenience, simplicity, and optimal use of the space in mind.
Your stay at this little condo with lots of charm includes access to shared on-site amenities like a hot tub, sauna and pool, and youâll be walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, FREE public transportation and more.

THE SPACE:
With 1 queen bed, bunk beds (2 twins), a well-equipped kitchen, and a full bathroom, this space comfortably accommodates couples, solo travelers, or small families of up to 4.
The main bedroom and living area are joined together as one large open studio space, however there is a fold-out room partition available which allows the queen bed and bath area to be split off from the rest of the studio for privacy. The overhead recessed LED lighting in the main bedroom/living area is dimmable, so feel free to set the mood for movie night on the brand new 55" ROKU (smart) TV!
In addition to 2 wall heaters, a portable space heater, and several fluffy blankets, you can warm up with the traditional flames of a pellet stove fireplace, powered by the modern convenience of a Nest thermostat.

GUEST ACCESS:
Youâll have full and private access to the entire studio via Wi-Fi smart keypad lock, as well as shared access to the common area hot tubs, sauna, laundry room and (seasonal) pool & picnic areas. Please note that during the winter season, the private patio may not be available due to the snow.
Parking passes are available for up to 2 vehicles in the ample lot. Parking spots are unassigned.
From this condo, you'll be:
- A short .4 mile (8 minute) walk away to the Red Line Bus/Night Trolley stop #10, which will take you to The Village, Main Lodge and more for FREE.
- Just a few steps to the Green Line Bus stop #43, which will take you to Eagle Lodge for FREE (mid-December to mid-April).
- A scenic 20.7 mile (24 minute) drive to June Lake (kids under 12 ski FREE at June Mountain).

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- The entire Mountain Shadows community is non-smoking! This means that not only is there NO SMOKING of any kind allowed inside the unit, smoking is also prohibited in the common areas outside.
- Out of respect to our guests with allergies, PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- In addition to 2 wall heaters, a portable space heater and several comfy blankets, one of the main heat sources in this unit is a pellet stove. I'll give you specific directions and guide you through it, but please note that it will require some action from you during your visit to keep it running properly (such as loading pellets into the top) IF you'd like to use it.
- The bunk bed twin memory foam mattresses are BRAND NEW and therefore are still VERY firm. The max weight is 200 lbs on the top bunk, and 250 lbs on the bottom bunk.
- We respectfully request that you remove your shoes inside, so please bring slippers, socks, or "house shoes".
- There is no cable TV, but the ROKU TV is enabled with "Guest Mode" (your streaming usernames/passwords will automatically be removed upon your departure).
- There is no air conditioning, but a fan is provided!
- There is no dishwasher, but dish soap and sponges are provided!
- The unit is on the first floor, but there are a few steps up to gain access.
- Sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, wash cloths, toilet paper and paper towels are provided, as well as liquid hand soap and Honest body wash/shampoo. Also, FREE coffee!
Stays of 3 or more nights will automatically have a "long stay" discount applied, and the more nights you stay, the higher the discount percentage applied to your entire stay will be (caps at 7 nights)!
