Good place

Lori,VRBO and Robert-I booked our VRBO for a sibling stay for our Uncle's funeral. I, however, ended up not able to go, due to my husband's hospitalization. The below review is from my oldest brothes, Dave, age 71 and Ken, age 67.Sharing their observations.Blessings- Lori Burton-Cluxton “Our stay was just fine.On the plus side, the bathroom and kitchen upgrades were nice, and the beds were comfortable. As far as other feedback, we couldn’t figure out the TV (access to anything attempted required a paid subscription); but that’s was only desired Friday night for the March Madness. Parking out front was a challenge due to the uneven ruts, and the tree limbs jutting up from the ground, and tree overhanging by the entrance were a bit of a safety issue. Also, there is an occasional and loud knocking sound for 5-8 seconds, which we could not pinpoint definitely - but we THINK it was the water pipes.” Dave

Clean and serene

I must admit that this was 1 of my best experiences renting out of town apartments for traveling. I wanna give special thanks to the host Robert for accommodating, and making the whole process simple n convenient for me and my friends. Thanks alot !!!

Daily chores on vacation

Upon arrival there was garbage all over the back deck. Banana peels, rotten eggs, etc. We cleaned it up. We had to wash all the towels in the bathroom closet before using because of all the debris that had fallen on them from the unfinished ceiling. Within a few days we discovered our sealed food on kitchen counter had been eaten by mice. There was a bad rodent problem.

Nice Location

In addition to plenty of space, the house was very clean. The location worked for us and some hidden bonuses including a Dunkin and Starbucks within a 5 minute drive.

Perfecf for a Quick Trip

Great place to stay with or without family. Comfortable with a detailed package for the stay. Absolutely nothing to complain about, completely as described and very flexible. Would book again, no question.

Nice house, Nice location, Great host

A few of my friends celebrated a birthday with a weekend in this house. We had to change our weekend b/c the birthday girl got Covid and the host was SO helpful/accommodating. We were lucky to find another weekend that worked and it ended up being the same weekend as a lovely Christmas festival in Canonsburg. The house was in a great location and was easy to get to. It was clean and exactly as pictured. Highly recommend!

Great Space

Had a leadership retreat here for two nights. We each had our own large room. Comfortable space to meet and hang out. Kitchen was good for one meal we made, but also close to local restaurants ... and the Sarris Chocolate shop!

interesting older home

home was nice, quite and had what you need. The basement is old and creepy ha! The parking situation is less than ideal there is no driveway and limited street parking and if you have trouble getting up steps you will be challenged with entering this home. I often book for my elderly parents and thought this house would not be suitable for them but for us it was fine. The decor is cute and modern. All in all a good home for most people. Coffee maker is a Kcup and ground brew option- very nice!

Nice and roomy and close to family

We were very happy with the house. It was a brand new renovation with all new furnishings. Lots of space. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. The deck was nice with plenty of seating to enjoy the outside and the front porch rockers were nice to sit on in the mornings with our coffee. Location was great for us being close or just a 15 minute ride to family! Very close to Interstate 79. The owner was great at responding to messages too! I would have loved to have better off street parking and maybe a small round dining table with 4 chairs in the living room. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely stay again!

Short stay

This house is perfect for a short stay outside of Pittsburgh. Quiet neighborhood and it perfect for traveling with family rather than getting multiple hotel rooms.

Better than a hotel

We stayed at this house in place of a couple of separate hotel rooms so this was much more economical and gave us the comfort of being together. Check-in was easy and the property manager responded quickly to our needs. We were a bit far from our destination, but the convenience of a kitchen and being together was worth it.
