The property was pretty much as described. Perfect base for what we need and plenty of space. I was competing in the Ironman World Champs and it was fairly close to the start.

We stayed at this condo during a very unfortunate stretch of weather, as a storm began right when we arrived and brought several days of heavy rain. While we completely understand that weather is out of the owner’s control, it did impact our overall experience.The unit itself was clean and we had no issues checking in, but there were a few comfort-related drawbacks. The couch was quite uncomfortable, especially after spending extended time indoors due to the rain. We were also surprised there was no TV, which would have made a big difference given the circumstances.The biggest issue was flooding around the property. The pool area turned into a muddy mess, and the laundry room became unusable during our stay. Again, we understand the storm played a major role, but these factors significantly limited the amenities we were able to use.Overall, this property may be a better fit during good weather, but our experience was impacted by both the storm and a few missing comforts.

Clean unit close to restaurants and shops. The only thing missing was the bathtub drain plug so that the tub could utilized.

Good location, unit was just okay

Location was great for walking to shopping, restaurants, and ocean front. The unit was in need of new doors, front and sliding back. Well stocked with supplies, not much for furniture or any relaxing in unit or outside grounds. A lot of rules for such a rundown building,

Almost Perfect

We were very happy with our unit. The building itself is not much to look at from the outside but the apartment was clean and surprisingly well stocked. The location is great and the laundry facilities were easy to use (no coins required). The on-site manager was friendly and helpful and it was easy to contact the CB property manager. Also, the internet speed was quite good which I need for a few work video calls.The only negative was that the water heater died near the end of our trip and we did not have any hot water for the last 24 hours. Property manager responded quickly but there was not a lot they could do before we left.

Nice place and location but…I stayed 9 nights, 2 days in, construction right outside our windows started and we were woken up the second the sun came out everyday of our stay. 3 days in they broke a piece of the porch so I let the owners know, they rapidly answered asking for pictures, I sent them and got no response. The next day the porch was closed off and we weren’t allowed there our whole stay. I let them know I was dissatisfied with the lack of response and never heard back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Refreshed, newer furniture, 2nd floor studio with small garden view. No tv. New appliances, but no dishwasher, new towels (so new the lint is still shedding). Welcome starter pack of facial tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, 2 waters, small coffee and a sweet treat. Unit only came with S&P, and oil. Everything else on your own.Easy instructions, though wording could be a bit better. Key code doesn’t operate the elevator, the actual key does, etc. Some leftover signs of unit remodel still on windows and walls and strange splotches within the laminate floor and fingerprints sealed under the countertop, but doesn’t affect functionality. Under new prop mgmt, so some kinks to still work out. Easy location to town and walkable. Pool is now salt water and very clean but small. No dedicated work space and outlets are hard to come by for laptop etc.Building complex itself is a bit on the institutional side. Open/common spaces have zero appeal. Pretty depressing along hallways and entryways and lobby. Paint scheme within interior staircases lean toward the San Quentin style. If aesthetics are your thing, this might hurt your inner designer.View of church steeple straight out the lanai. Look down and you view the garbage dumpster and wafting odor of smokers from downstairs.Budget/value unit. Safe and clean.
