This charming log cabin is perched on top of a large hill with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. It is situated on 21 acres of spacious, forested lands ready to be explored. The property is surrounded on three sides by Halfway Brook, which is accessible for fishing or water recreation. Secluded enough for a quiet stay and only 20 minutes from Lake George

A fire pit is provided for guests to enjoy under the beautiful Adirondack night sky. The cabin is equipped with all the modern amenities: stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, gas grill, 65-inch TV, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer. The open kitchen has granite countertops, a breakfast island with bar stool seating, and plenty of space for cooking and entertaining. A beautiful Adirondack style dining table seats six and has a nearby wood live-edge bar.

The open floor plan gives way to a comfortable living room with large full windows that let in plenty of sunlight.

The cabin can . The first bedroom (2-3 people) has a bunk bed with a twin top and queen bottom. The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds (4 people). The main bathroom is located between the living space and the bedrooms with a full bath and shower. The spacious master bedroom boasts a beautiful king sized bed, ample storage/closet space, and a private full bathroom.

Hand-sewn accents, antique touches, and local artwork make this cabin feel like your own Upstate NY getaway.

The location of the cabin is one of its best qualities! A very short 1.7 mile ride will land you right at the beautiful Country Meadows Wedding Barn. As it is located directly on State Rt 149, the cabin is your central hub to a large variety of amazing locations.

A lovely private stay

We had a lovely stay. Plenty of land to walk our dog and provide privacy. The rooms were clean. There were plenty of blankets to keep cozy. When we had trouble with the heat, Colin responded quickly and helped us remedy the situation. The driveway was long and windy, but kept plowed during winter weather.There were more outdoor amenities that we didn't use like a fun fire pit area and stacked wood and pretty outdoor lighting for walks at night. There were spices in the cupboards and all of the cleaning supplies you'd need for an extended stay. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and Colin as a property manager.

Herding weekend stay

My husband and I stay at this property for a herding clinic in the area. The house is an adorable log cabin. It was well stocked with dishes, pan and utensils. The layout of the house was well suited for us and the dogs. The property is well lighted at night which was good for us since we were out early and home late. Perfect for dog walking in the dark. We greatly enjoy our stay at the cabin on the hill.

Very nice and peaceful place.

It was very nice stay. Family of 4 with 2 kids 2 and 4 years old. Very big property and a lots of grass for kids to play at. Communication with the owner was very easy and replay fast. Everything you need to spend nice time. Definitely on to go back list.

Lake George week

The property was as advertised. Wonderfully maintained and plenty of room for us all. The fire pit was a big hit and the host had it fully stocked with wood for us. We would definitely go back.

Great experience

We had an amazing stay. The cabin is nicely setup with modern touches, games for kids were really great and keept them busy. Property owners had great communication skills, I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location-near Wedding Barn and Lake George

We came up on a family trip for a wedding. We enjoyed arriving early and getting to explore the area before the wedding. Could not beat how close this was to the wedding barn-it took us 4 min to get there! We really enjoyed the cabin. It's proximity to friend's homes, Lake George/Ft. Henry, Martha's icecream, outlets, and other shopping centers was ideal. It was very kid and pet-friendly which was a plus and located near the main roads. A short trip to a store to get supplies. It was my son's first trip to NY and he loved the cabin and location-even on a rainy day and it being outside the regular tourist season, there was plenty to do, and places to go and eat. My son described it best, "we just wished we had more days to stay there before it was time to go."

Perfect getaway

Stayed with my parents. Great meeting spot for me from Maine and then from the finger lakes. Very comfortable and clean. Great location. Easy access to activities. Really enjoyed hearing the cows Moo next door!

Adirondack Stay

Listing as advertised and up the hill off of the main road. The interior is updated, bedrooms have new beds and pillows. The deck is charming as well as a place to have a fire. My older nephews enjoyed exploring the 20+ acres. The washer downstairs needed a quick fix and the owner communicated immediately and got fixed in no time. Our only "complaint" is the coffee "maker". It is not an automatic and had no filters to make coffee with. We had to buy one (which we left for the next guests). Overall a nice, and comfortable cabin. Thank You!

Great cozy getaway rental

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was very CLEAN, welcoming and beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Great place for a family to spend time together. The firepit was a plus, and we spent one night just hanging out there.The owners were very attentive to my messages and questions and got back to me right away. From the online pictures, I had the impression that the cabin was out in the middle of the woods with nothing around, but it is right off of the main road and easy to get to restaurants, convenience stores etc. and 20 minutes from Lake George. We would stay here again..it was really nice!
