Welcome to the Ravine Lodge! Your transitional modern escape in the Galena Territory! Soak up the serenity in this newly updated and furnished home. Guest will enjoy year round adventure and access to resort-like amenities.

This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is ideal for families and groups up to 8 (sleeps 7 adults comfortably). You’ll share a spacious cozy living room with picturesque views and a scenic electric fireplace. Prepare your favorite meals in the fully stocked kitchen or bring the cooking outside and fire up the grill. Enjoy main level indoor and outdoor dining spaces and a 3 seasons room. All bedrooms are located on the lower level. On the upper level you’ll find a game room and pull out sleeper sofa (full). End your nights in your private backyard 7 person hot tub!

Living room and all bedrooms have a smart Roku TV. Enjoy high speed fiber internet during your stay!

Nice and quiet. While we were there during the week, it was perfect. Probably the best thing was the comfortable furniture and bedding, I can’t tell you how many places we’ve stayed at with no comfortable place to sit.Ample kitchen supplies for cooking anything you enjoy. Something to note is that all bedrooms are on the lower level (Stairs). Very good accommodation for the price.

Home was gorgeous and had everything we needed! Kitchen had everything for cooking/baking supplies, apart from dessert pans. Hot tub was very luxurious and was enjoyed every night. 10/10 recommended!

The check in process was incredibly easy and the host was very responsive. We were a bit disappointed by the overall condition of the house, the back deck, and screened in porch as the screens were torn in many areas and the door from the porch to the deck was broke with huge holes so we couldn't even enjoy sitting outside without the annoyance of a lot bugs. The area was quiet and we never used the community amenities as there were a few miles away, which would have been nice to know at the time of booking. Also, all 3 bedrooms were in the basement and the heating/cooling system did not seem very efficient or regulated as it was about 60 degrees down there while it was 70 degrees on the main floor. Overall 3/5.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We’re glad to hear the check-in process was easy and that you found us responsive throughout your stay. We do want to clarify a few things for future guests. The Galena Territory is a very large 6,800-acre community, so the Owner’s Club and pool are centrally located within the Territory rather than directly next to each home. (thegalenaterritory.com) Regarding the bedroom layout, the home’s listing description and photos do note that the bedrooms are located on the lower level. During cooler months, there can naturally be some temperature variation between levels since heat rises, which is why we provide individual space heaters in each bedroom for added comfort. We also appreciate you bringing the deck concerns to our attention. Some deck and screened porch maintenance is already in progress, and we’re continuing to make improvements to those outdoor spaces. Thank you again for your stay and feedback as we continue working to improve the guest experience.

The property is clean and the living room is spacious for playing games together. The bedrooms are in the basement and were really cold because of the draft. The bathrooms are a little outdated. The house has plenty of games and activities for a family gathering. The outdoor space would be nice in warm weather.

Ravine Lodge is an absolute must. Booking to departure was seamless with clear communication. Ravine is super clean and has everything needed and more as far as towels, toiletries, seating, and kitchen supplies!We love all the wildlife we saw from the back deck. Starlings, Orioles, mama deer and baby, bunnies, turkeys, etc.The patio is great for enjoying brilliant sunsets and the screened in porch allowed us to complete paint-by-numbers without insect interference while keeping dry from the rain. All my girlfriends commented how comfy the beds are, sleeping like champions. Also, preserving the integrity of the sky - no outside lights- was awesome! We were able to see so many stars and constellations. The space is large and with three bathrooms, we got ready in a jiffy and made the stunning trek to downtown Galena. The hot tub is well-maintained and a delight to sit in with friends, reminiscing and enjoying the calm and quiet was a treat!!!!The pool was beautiful. We were lucky enough to have this all to ourselves. What fun!I'm love Ravine Lodge and cannot wait to return! Brittany allowed us a 1230 check-out as this time worked for housekeeping. This allowed extra time to enjoy the still and continue our art project. I never expect a late check-out as I know there is a quick turnaround time for other guests' arrival. We are grateful for the extension!The Ravine is the cat's meow! We heard plenty of catbirds too!!

family trip

We only had two things that were an issue. One was the towels. 7 adults for 3 days and only 6 towels. There should have been a better option here. Had to do laundry on my trip. Not the best. Also, the garbage restrictions were inconvenient. 8 people, cooked 6 meals there and only two bags of garbage. That was weird. The house was great, the back porch was the best. We loved staying there.

Hi Nancy, I apologize for the amount of towels that were provided for you. That was definitely a mistake and I would have gladly had that taken care of if you had reached out. Unfortunately, the territory does not have a pickup service for trash so we need to limit the amount of bags our guest leave behind. Many home rentals in the territory allow none. The refuse center is a couple minutes down the road for easy trash drop off. Glad you enjoyed your time at the Ravine Lodge! Hope you’ll consider staying again in the future.
