Hands-down the most thoughtfully designed rental we’ve ever stayed in!We stayed here while visiting for WWU's Family Weekend, and the house was incredible. Every detail was a work of art, and everything was so well appointed and clearly labeled that we never had to wonder how anything worked.Communication was outstanding, with replies within minutes, though you hardly need them since everything is so well explained. The pillows were to die for (an odd thing to say, but a comfortable bed matters!), and watching movies on the projector was a blast. We’re also taking home plenty of design inspiration. We absolutely adored our stay and hope to book here every time we visit Bellingham!

Stayed near downtown Bellingham which was walking distance to bars and restaurants. The house had a great vibe and we will look to stay again next time we visit.

Unique treasure in Bellingham.

We just had the best week staying at this cozy intimate and unique home. It was by far the coolest vrbo home we’ve ever stayed at. Close to downtown close to mountain biking trails and perfectly appointed. We can’t wait to come back. We give it a 10/10!!!

We recently stayed at this beautiful home, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The space was not only stunning, but also functional making our stay comfortable. The central location was just what we needed, providing easy access to everything we wanted to do. Nick, the host was fantastic. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Definitely a 5 star home.

Incredibly unique!

This is not your average property, it's an experience! Our stay was a daily treasure hunt, from discovering the owner's craftsmanship utilizing reclaimed materials throughout the entire home to the home decor to the strategically placed surprises to the comfortable deck and back yard. Our family very much enjoyed our stay.

Great family getaway

We had several family members who traveled from all over the country for a wedding. The house was well-appointed & beautifully decorated! There isn't a ton of privacy, so staying with people you know well is recommended. ;) Would stay again. I loved the close walk/hike to the arboretum & our fall stay allowed us to pick apples from the backyard! Great walking area & easy to get around B-ham.

Cool remodeled house near walking distance from downtown Bellingham. Bedrooms comfy, TV, internet great. No complaints. The steps leading upstairs only have one rail. No issues, but best to have good balance.

Unique fun house to stay!

We loved staying at this house over the weekend for the Bellingham Run the Bay! The house is gorgeous, with many small details that were delightful to discover. About a .75 mi. walk from the downtown area, and a 4 min. drive to grocery stores. This was a quiet place to stay, which suited our group. The kitchen was well sticked with equipment to host a nice dinner for folks before the run as well. Nick was very responsive, and respectful of our stay.

Beautiful artful comfortable home

I loved everything about the house. We were visiting our son at western. It was walking distance (about .8 miles away) from campus. We loved all the beautiful artisan details in the house. The rain shower with the skylight was amazing. The neighbors was quiet. I would definitely stay again.

Central location for us

We were 3 adult couples - it was a little tight sharing the small downstairs bath with 4 people. We enjoyed our stay, but want to make a few comments: 1-bent screen in front bdrm, so not able to leave window open for air circulation. 2-listing could have been more clear about person living in the back yard shed/garage. 3-missing screen in kitchen window. 4-listing should state no microwave or instant coffee maker. (we did google how to use the french press) 5-listing should state no a/c. (we didn't get in until late and it was a warm day, so it took a while for it to cool off) 5-listing should mention street parking only (we were able to find a spot every day, but it was pretty full) 6-could use a step stool or ledge to get into upstairs bed.

Thank you for the updates, Cynthia! We do a thorough check-out with every guest departure but often guests don't let me know when things happen - like a bent window screen. With every guest who comes to stay - including yourself - I let them know I'm a quick text away from coming over from my house next door to support quickly with any missing details. I encourage all my guests to let me know when something doesn't feel right. I've also taken responsibility for updating my listing to reflect the items you noted - thank you for a detailed response!
