This was our second time staying at this location for our annual family vacation and it was just as nice as the first time. Plenty of room for our six adults and three children. The access to the sound is amazing - private pier with a breathtaking view of the sunset. The pier dock is excellent for fishing and simply relaxing. The bedrooms and bathrooms are adequately stocked with linens and towels/washcloths. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and the upper deck has a BBQ grill. The decks have nice Adirondack chairs, plenty for all. The home is very close to the public beach access and parking was never a problem. Parking at the home is steep but three vehicles fit nicely. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house in Indian Beach! We hoped it would be clean, but it was even cleaner and more beautiful than we expected—10/10!We were a little worried about preparing meals for our family, but the fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, which made our stay easy and comfortable. The host was very responsible and responsive throughout our stay.My kids especially loved the deck by the water, and they are already asking when we can be guests again! We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

We had a great time at this home. Plenty of room to spread out. 2 adults, 4 kids. This house feels homey and not like a rental property. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Probably the best part of this house is the pier and walkway to the sound. It was beautiful, especially at sunset. My boys had fun looking for hermit crabs, fishing, and swimming. They caught a good variety of fish right from the pier-drum, mullet, croaker, and some stingrays. My oldest son also used a cast net and caught a bunch of bait fish to use. The host was also very quick to respond to any questions I had. We hope to return next summer!

This is a great property for one or two families, with plenty of areas to set up as sleeping spaces. I suggest taking a blow-up mattress or travel bed if you have concerns about the comfort of the futons or couches. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook family meals, and all appliances worked great. The floors were clean, but there's a lot of carpet, so keep an eye out for raised corners. I don't think they are a hazard, but they could be for little ones or older people. The bathrooms are clean; I wouldn't say "squeaky clean," but clean. If you are staying for 4 days with a large family, take extra toilet paper. I love that they had so many towels; we took plenty, or so I thought, but I'm glad they had more. If you are the lucky one that stays on the first floor, be prepared to be stared at by two deer heads. They are beautiful, but it took me 2 days or so to get used to them. I made sure to say good morning to them both, lol.There are plenty of little stores nearby, go-karts, and beach access. For families with little kids, the aquarium is about 30 minutes away. I recommend Willis Seafood Market if you are looking for fresh shrimp. We stayed for 4 nights and felt like we didn't have enough time to explore everything we could. Overall, my family had a blast, and they asked that we go back there next year.

Wonderful rental. The house is spacious and comfortable. Everything was as described in the listing. Very nice pier / dock in the sound. Easy access to public beach area. A bonus, as we were there on the 4th of July, we were able to see fireworks right from the 3rd floor deck.

Very nice house with private dock on the sound. Away from the congestion of Emerald Isle but close enough to go into town for restaurants and shopping. Plenty of public beaches nearby. Home was comfortable and clean and host was responsive to questions.

Very nice house and property. Super clean. Beautiful house and great view of the sound and the ocean from the top floor. There are a lot of steps which could be hard for some older folks, but they are carpeted and the kids loved running up and down them, lol. My only complaint is the bed frames in the guest bedroom and the bunk beds are super squeaky, the bunk beds are a little wobbly and may need tightened up. The futons were super comfortable and I slept like a baby on them. I loved this house and would definitely stay here again.

The overall experience was great. Did not take into account going up and down the stairs. My fault. Still, a lovely place with lots of room. Jane was great throughout the entire stay.

We had a wonderful time with our family. The house was very spacious and clean. The host was very responsive with messages and thoughtful with supplying small things around the house like tissues, paper towels, spices, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Great cottage. Super comfortable home with a fantastic private dock. We had a wonderful time basking in the sun and enjoying the gorgeous sound views. Fun fishing and relaxing in a beautiful place. Bring your hiking shoes because the house is three stories. Overall, excellent getaway.

We had a great time staying at this house. It was equipped with pretty much everything we needed. There was a balcony or porch from every floor. The walk down to the bay water was very nice on the boardwalk. And beautiful sunset. And we walked to the beach access, which was a 10 minute walk, but you can also park there. Waves were great for the kids boogie boards. Mini golf was a five minute walk and there’s a little train there for kids. We did not go there though.The kitchen and living room area was perfect but on the third floor, so anybody with disabilities might have trouble walking that much. The fireplace was a nice touch.

Property was great, except that the shower door in the master bedroom fell off. There was also a sauce pan with a crack in the bottom of it.

This is our 2nd summer staying here and hopefully more to come! We absolutely love it here and having the sound to play in on red flag beach days and on beautiful days going to the beach! Its a great spot!

Perfect place for multiple people!

This property was clean and maintained. Perfect location. Close to easy beach access, food and shopping. The multiple levels and rooms made it the perfect place for our family of four to stay with in laws. Loves the outdoor space and the outdoor shower was perfect for washing sandy feet and swimsuits.

Relaxing Time With Family

What a great time away from the hustle and bustle! This home has absolutely everything needed for a large group or even a small group. Close enough to anything that we wanted to do but far enough away to just enjoy the sites and sounds this was our third time and hopefully will not be our last.

East coast farewell tour 2025 for great grandma. Family gathered, cried, sang, feasted, fished, and beached. We had plenty of room especially when the military boys showed up with their mic and speaker to send grandma off on her final voyage island style. The pier is awesome it's right there super close. The beach also is super close but man that beach is not for the disabled there lots of steps and a long path to get to the sand. But there's other beaches nearby too. We usually stay closer to the atlantic beach pier basically on the pier but for the same price point and a lot more extras we chose this spot, only 20 min from the pier. The absolute best choice. They had cooking oils and seasonings, toilet paper trash bags, dish soap, bug spray, hair dryer, towels, pillows, bed sheets, all the things. Like all things nothing it's perfect but we all left there with very fond memories and appreciation for the host and this big house. There's 2 things that werent caught by the cleaning crew and they aren't even terrible we took care of them, no need to even report because they were easily missed. Coffee pot had leftover coffee not much but was old. The only other thing was a smell from the garbage disposal but we ran it and it was gone. Omg the filtered water jug in the fridge was perfect after climbing all those stairs. And the stairs are fine, im short they were totally doable. The decks were filled with singing dancing and grilling. 10/10 recommend.
