Santa Barbara Wedding Weekend

We were in town for a micro wedding in SB. We were married at the courthouse and had our wedding dinner on property at Valhalla with a private chef. Everything was first class and we will always remember our time together with our family!

Amazing 60th bday celebration

Perfect spot! There were 11 of us celebrating a 60th birthday. Our stay was amazing. The home has wonderful energy, comfortable accommodations, plenty of space, and very well appointed. The grounds are beyond beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. We can’t say enough good things about this magical setting! We’ll be back!

Perfect girls weekend!

This place is gorgeous and perfect to get away with your friends and family for the weekend! We brought in a chef for dinner one night. And the other we brought in a hair and makeup team for my friends and had a photographer come do a photo shoot! Can’t wait to come back!

Oh my, goodness, what a wonderful house! We spent a perfect week at Valhalla with our three sons, their partners, and our two young grandsons. The house and cottage are just delightful -- beautifully and very comfortably furnished with lots of space so everyone can have as much privacy and together time as they want or need. And the outdoor areas are such a bonus -- warm salt water pool, hot tub, outdoor fireplace, large balcony and covered patio, loads of space to play table tennis, corn hole toss, bocce ball, croquet, hide and seek! Valhalla is located in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by horse ranches and paddocks and practice polo fields, and yet is just a very short drive to the freeway and a 20 minute walk to the beach. Perfection! We can't wait to come back!

Amazing!

What a great rental. We absolutely loved it for a multi-generational trip. I can't even think of one thing that would have improved it. Plenty of towels, cookware, blankets for sitting outside in the evening, gorgeous flowers, space to spread out, location was exemplary. Highly recommend!

This house is comfortable and upscale at the same time. You feel at home from the moment you step inside. It has everything you need for a perfect vacation. The only “problem” is the WiFi is very weak but not sure that is completely bad. I would not hesitate to rent this place. This is even MORE beautiful than the pictures! Incredible landscaping through the property!!

A Wonderful Life.

Wow. We have resigned to knowing that we'll never be as happy on any vacation ever again. This was the best choice for our graduation weekend. Stocked with every thing we needed to make a meal, we watch the Kentucky Derby on the big screen, walked to the opening season polo match down the road, my nephew spent six hours in the pool, yelling "this is the best pool -- ever!" Truly incredible stay!

We chose this property for a 40th birthday celebration with family and it was perfect. The property is the ideal location- it has fantastic communal space but is large enough so that everyone has enough room. The home is incredibly clean, beautifully furnished, impeccably stocked with everything you might need. The pool was warm, the beach is close, and Summerland/SB/Montecito are all convenient. Somehow, it’s even better than the photos. Everyone was so comfortable- even my parents, who hardly travel, said that they can’t wait to go back. They felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing experience

Staying at Valhalla was a special experience. Our extended family congregated from all different areas and we picked the perfect place to stay. There are fun things nearby to do (and we explored some), but with the serenity and beauty of the estate it's also hard to leave. We had a great time hanging out in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, eating and chatting outside, playing ping pong, walking/hiking around the estate, playing games in the cottage, etc. The place is really well maintained, very clean, and well stocked. (For example, lots of kitchen supplies and lots of towels). Highly recommend!!

A magical place

We booked this beautiful property for my mother's 80th birthday. There were 12 of us plus a 10 months old baby. We were welcomed by the property manager who gave us a tour of the place and all instructions to operate the place. We assigned rooms and had beds for everyone. The property is even prettier than the posted pictures. The landscaping and beautiful greenery makes this place so magical. All the rooms are well decorated and not overly crowded. The kitchen is fully stocked. We had formal dinners during our stay and loved using all the beautiful dishes provided. The neighborhood is quiet, cozy and secluded. The outdoor furniture makes the outdoors so inviting and comfortable. The pool is heated and super enjoyable. The cottage allowed privacy to the 4 young adults staying up late and enjoying the outdoor fireplace. The walk to the beach took about 30 minutes one way which we took every morning. My mom had a fantastic time. We will certainly book this place for future events. Thank you.

Little Slice of Heaven

Vahalla truly lives up to its name with sprawling landscapes and luxurious accommodations. My extended family wanted a place to get away where we could enjoy time together but also be able to venture out to the local shops, restaurants, beaches and the many attractions of the Santa Barbara coast. We ended up spending most of our time within the gates of the compound as It literally felt like our own private resort. The estate is laid out in such a way that you are able to sneak off for a bit of downtime and then recongregate for meals, games and pooltime fun. We loved exploring the area, barbequing, enjoying evening cocktail hours, and ending our nights with a swim, hot tub, and an outdoor shower. The grounds are a horticulturist's dream with so many different species of plants and trees. The interior of the ranch is designed to perfection with every accommodation you may need and each room is so well appointed with the best cozy linens and comfortable pillows. Each of us slept like babies with the ocean air drifting in to greet us each morning. I loved waking up and hiking up the incredible trail right out the drive. It was a beautiful way to start the day with numerous vistas along the way offering breathtaking views. All in all our stay was magical and each of us went back to our homes feeling renewed and refreshed. I have to admit I am still dreaming of the siestas on the balcony hammock. We are definitely planning our next reunion trip to this little slice of heaven.
