Pleasant stay

This is our 2nd time staying in this cabin. We enjoyed our stay, cabin was clean and kitchen is stocked. Checkin and out is easy.

Great Property, Beautiful Location

Everything about our stay was great, super easy checking in to the property and clean, safe location. The house was exactly as described, super comfortable beds and everything you'd need in the kitchen. The kids loved the retro gaming and we all enjoyed the hot tub after checking out the local trails. Would recommend the property to anyone!

We had such a positive experience! The hostess was so welcoming and kind! We didn’t chose to take advantage of all the office had to offer- the restaurant, coffee, grocery store, gift options- etc…. But we certainly will next time! We hung out at our cabin all weekend! We explored the woods a bit and fully enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage! The kids LOVED the basement! It’s like a teen haven down there!We brought groceries and found all the tools we needed to grill out, bake cookies, make pizza, and cook all we brought in the cabin. It was very well stocked. My family enjoyed our cabin and all it had to offer. We will definitely use this hostess / property again!

The hot tub was actually dirty and the headrest were gone but one the jet was like shooting water across to the other side not sure what was wrong and we would love to use the fireplace but it wouldn’t light we would love to use it for in the mornings, cool mornings, and the cool nights

Fun filled week on the lake

The location was convenient to Burnside Marina where we rented a boat. The only small complaint is the lack of storage for clothes in the loft and basement bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked well, 2 screened in porches and a gas grill! Pool is located right across from this cabin. We will definitely be staying here again!

QUIET Cabin in the Lovely Woods

This is an attractive cabin with good curbside appeal in a very quiet neighborhood, billed as a resort but with more of a homey feel. Overall, we we were pleased with our stay. The location of the property was great for anyone trying to escape the rat race. There are 3 swimming pools on the property; they are small but well-tended. The grounds are attractive. The small store within the company office at the check-in location is slightly understaffed, but the breads baked on site are worth the wait. The ladies who work in the kitchen, store and office were very helpful and pleasant. The gentleman was not as engaging. We did have issues with the cleanliness in areas of our rental. There were great amounts of dog hair in the carpet, blankets and scattered about the home. The bathroom mats had bunches of human hair. The hot tub was dirty, which we reported. We ended up cleaning it as best we could when the cleaners failed to show. An outside light which was out was promptly replaced when reported. There were inside bulbs that should have been replaced before we arrived. We reported them at departure rather than wait for someone to come in to do it. The beds were good. The appliances nice. We were comfortable after the hair was cleaned up. Overall, it was a good stay and we were pleased with it.

Our team at Lake Cumberland Resort III strives to make each stay the best possible for our guests. Unfortunately, there will be issues to overcome along the way, and we do our absolute best to correct those. This encounter is not a true representation of what we offer in our rentals. We take pride in our reviews. Because we are nearly at a 5-star rating, we are a Super Host on Airbnb and a Premiere Partner with VRBO. Our standards are high, and we go over all issues with our staff to ensure we each learn from any mistakes. We are glad you were able to enjoy your stay.
