Best Place for a festival

I came here for the pirate festival; it was the best spot to see the sunrise and the stars. The property was clean and will be making sure to come back again whenever I am in Eastport.

A dream of a place in real life

Getting to this place was a total nightmare—thanks to American Airlines.Nancy was, without a doubt, the VERY best host we have ever had. She went above and beyond to help make our short trip special. The accommodations were perfect and the condo was spotless. We had everything we needed and more. The view was amazing and restaurants and shops were within a short walking distance. We would absolutely be back to stay here (with no involvement from American Airlines.) Thank you, Nancy, for helping salvage this mother-daughter trip! We are forever grateful and it was a total joy to meet you!

Great location

Unfortunately they had a bit of a roof leak during the recent heavy rain which occurred before we got there. We had good weather while there and they had already arranged for someone to work on it. The slider didn’t have a lock which was a concern. I think adding room darkening shades and including the slider would be great for privacy and blocking out the streetlights etc.. Loved watching the fishing boats but those spotlights lit up the front room. Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The location overlooking the wharves was nice too. Great restaurants and lots to see. We ended up having to leave early but overall had a good time.

Amazing

Lovely brick building right in town. Amazing views. Quiet and mellow stay. Perfect spot to escape and gaze out on the harbor. Front and center - but still private. The apartment is well laid out with two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Very spacious and clean. . .and just knock out views.

I can't say enough good things about this property! The hosts were wonderfully kind and the apartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. Throw in a great location and fabulous view, and what more could you ask for?! We were very happy campers! :)

The Commons is the best spot in town on the water Very clean and well appointed condo very comfort

We loved it!

We loved this property! The apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable. It has a very well equipped kitchen and a patio with a fabulous view of the water and surrounding islands. Our host was very easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect location

Perfect location in downtown Eastport. Lots is space, very clean. They made sure we had lots of towels and blankets, as there were five of us staying in the home. The women own the building, and we visited them in the gallery downstairs. They even provided a discount on items in the gallery when our son bought a pretty bracelet for his girlfriend. We will stay here again!

Beautiful ocean view and lively spot

Wonderful to watch the sun rise on the deck facing the water! Very well appointed and clean apartment. This a lively spot right in the middle of downtown Eastport -- we could look down on folks walking along the trail that runs by the water or taking pictures of the view or dining at the restaurant next door. But still very quiet and peaceful at night. It was nice for our tween child who could go down and explore the area while we stayed on the deck. I was grateful for flexibility of the host about our check in and departure time. I recommend this place.

Enjoyed our Visit

Great property with amazing views of the bay - this can't be understated. You walk out on the deck with views of sunrise, the bay and Canada! This is a great central location right on Main Street in Eastport (Water Street) with all the amenities. Can be a bit noisy in the am with popular breakfast diner next door and Main Street traffic. If you like to sleep in, this may be a challenge. 30 second walk to coffee shop, brewery, winery, ice cream and candy. Very clean and has all the key amenities. Great spot!

Condo was fantastic!

Gorgeous views of the water and harbor! Everything was clean and condo has a great layout. We loved walking to local restaurants and shops. Nancy was a great communicator and checking in and out was easy. This was our first visit to Eastport! We look forward to staying at the Commons again! Highly recommend!

What a place!

This is our second time staying at the commons, and we’ve now had the pleasure of experiencing both of the units (we were next door last January). The condo was clean, warm and very welcoming. Nancy Assante was an extremely accommodating host, and the entire stay went smoothly despite the adverse weather we had to brave to get there. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Beautiful location, great property, and attentive host!

Our trip to Eastport was wonderful, and a large part of that was being able to stay at the Water's Edge unit in the Commons building. The central location couldn't have been better, nor could Nancy's attentiveness before, during, and after our stay. The property itself had a very comfortable bed (we assume the other bed was comfortable too, even though we didn't use it), a glorious deck, and all the amenities we needed. We did note that there was no grill available, despite one being shown on the deck in the photos, but we still had everything we needed to cook a few lobsters on the stovetop. Nancy's check-in communication was great, and she offered some useful tips on things to do while we were there. Thank you!

Wonderful Eastport Stay

Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome; property was super clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable, lovely water view, nice in-town location and able to walk to everything! We've stayed at a number of VRBO properties and this was truly one of the best. We look forward to returning!!

Great town, beautiful view and property, and wonderful host.

The condo was clean and comfortable and easily accommodated my family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children ages 14, 10 and 6). The view from the deck is spectacular and we enjoyed eating dinner and breakfast there on all of the nice days. The town of Eastport is cute and friendly and had quite a few activities for kids that we enjoyed as a family. We went on a beautiful hike around Shackford head state park, which is just a few minutes away. Nancy was a gracious, friendly and responsive host. This was a wonderful stay and exactly what we were looking for. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Eastport! Allison Bennett and family Rockport, ME

Absolutely Delightful, Loved everything about my week stay in Eastport.!

This property more then met my expectations! The 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment has everything you need for a short or extended stay it is furnished beautifully and the deck right at the waters edge made my stay magical . Location is perfect too ! Walking distance to everything you need! You will Love this place, do your self a favor and book a vacation here you won’t regret it.
