Unwind in the large open-plan living area, perfect for family gatherings or movie nights. Curl up with a captivating book (we have an extensive library!) in one of the many cozy nooks. The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, premium stainless steel appliances, quality pots, fry pans, dishes, flatware, and chefs knives. Ayuh, thasa lobstah pot too. :-) Everything you need to whip up delicious meals. Stock up on groceries and unleash your inner chef, or enjoy relaxed breakfasts at one of the many restaurants on the island.

Gather around the large TV and enjoy a movie night with the whole family, complete with immersive SONOS surround sound. Need to catch up on emails or work remotely? A dedicated workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi is at your disposal. After a day of exploration, unwind on the deck and soak in the cool Eastport evenings. Always a charm staying at Third’s A Charm

Amazingly comfortable and accommodating rental. Kitchen is to die for and location near downtown Eastport is perfect. Enjoyed yet another amazing holiday here and look forward to spending another soon. Highly recommend!!

Third time at Thirds a Charm

Another amazing stay at one of the best rentals available in Eastport Maine. The owners are truly amazing even offering me an extra night to avoid the pending snowstorm on Christmas Eve. This really meant a lot and just goes hand and hand with the quality of this great rental. Everything about the house was perfect for our third holiday spent there. Couldn't ask for a better experience, location, and level of comfort.

Nice relaxing getaway

We had a great time in Eastport. The house was a short walk to the charming little town right on the ocean and a short drive to hiking! It was clean and updated. With lots of warm blankets for chilly fall mornings! We would love to stay again.

Beautiful Home!

This home is beautifully remodeled and fabulously furnished. Everything was as billed, but better. Our only reservation was that the stairs are somewhat challenging for someone with my physical disability. We would certainly go back.

What a beautiful escape!

We had a fabulous stay in Gail and Bob’s stunning house. The layout was perfect for our family - two parents, two young boys and nanna… lots of cozy spaces for us to hang out or to steal a quiet moment alone. The decor was beautiful and we loved all the local touches. Gail and Bob provided helpful recommendations and were very responsive during our stay. The house was steps from downtown Eastport and the ocean, and an easy drive to interesting trails and beaches. We would highly recommend if you’re looking for a family-friendly, luxury getaway to Eastport!

Heaven on Earth!

Upon arrival I was amazed at the level of cleanliness. The house keeping staff is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL!!! The house was a perfect match for us with just the right amount of space. The location is fantastic for walking to town for some shopping, beach combing or a drink at the local bar. Gail was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating.

Eastport vacation

It was a memorable stay and the house was amazing to the point where we will be designing our kitchen the same way! I love being able to do the laundry and they even had pods there for me to use which was a bonus with three kids. It was nice to come home and only have to do one load of laundry. The couch was perfect and loved the dining table for dinner ! Absolutely would recommend a 100 percent

Luxury in Eastport

Wow, this house is wonderful! Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights in early March, and it was so fun to experience Eastport in the off-season. The home is absolutely gorgeous!! The decorating is fabulous, but it is also warm and welcoming - we truly felt at home there. We appreciated all the sitting areas available for reading, watching television or studying, and it was wonderful to have a washer/dryer, Keurig coffee maker, and especially a fridge with an ice maker/water dispenser! It's a very short walk from the house to downtown and the harbor, so you can walk to the local restaurants, shops and charming public library in no time. The grocery store and Shackford Head State Park are just a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. This house has it all. Perfect location, perfect amenities, and perfect hosts. A very relaxing and welcoming place to stay - highly recommended!

Wonderful home during a difficult time.

This wonderful home was a last minute rental for us. We were traveling to attend a funeral of a dear friend's father. When we arrived, we found the completely renovated home to be in immaculate condition and absolutely beautiful. As it turned out, the family returned to the rental to share a meal and stories. This home provided a warm and inviting atmosphere to do just that. Everyone was charmed by the home and talked about renting it themselves in the future. The home had everything you needed and more for a lengthy stay in a beautiful town. We were sorry to leave after a few short days. Our hosts were just a text away and provided any assistance that we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone interested.

Just the cutest!

My wife and I stayed in Eastport over a long weekend and were so excited to find this property to serve as our home in Maine for 4 days. The pictures show a well-appointed, cute home and they’re right on. My wife’s first impression was that she needed the name of their interior decorator. It was just so damn cute! The home has everything you need, from a well-appointed kitchen to the backyard grill and fire pit. Three bedrooms with plenty of room for a family. We only used the main bedroom with its incredibly comfortable bed and seaside breeze. So many spaces to relax, converse and reflect upon the day or read quietly and enjoy your morning. High end appliances and reliable internet for your entertainment needs. I could go on and on, but you’ll have to stay here to understand just how great of a listing this is. The owners even offered us a late checkout unprompted. Thanks so much! -Patrick

A Gem in Downeast Maine!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Eastport, ME. The home is beautifully renovated and decorated with clean and comfortable spaces. There were all of the basics that one could ask for and so many other little touches that were appreciated. The kitchen was equipped with fully stocked selection of dishes, cookware and supplies, even a large stockpot for a lobster boil if you desire. The large island in the kitchen was perfect for sitting for breakfast or a quick meal, but a full large dining table was available for sit down meals as well. The décor throughout is modern yet wonderfully incorporates classic coastal Maine elements. There were a nice selection of both adult and children's books on the bookshelf, puzzles and family games available, but not so many of such things to appear cluttered. With the Wi-fi access and smart TV it was easy to access any of the various streaming platforms (ie Disney+ or Netflix). The house itself is located just a short walk from the quaint downtown waterfront area of Eastport. The electronic keypad locks made check-in a breeze, receiving the code and welcome message from Bob and Gail. They were welcoming and available through the app to answer questions and even provided info on a local concert happening during our stay without being overbearing or intrusive and to top things off even allowed us a late check-out, making our last morning far less rushed. We could not have been happier with our stay!

We're travelers just like you. We have stayed at dozens of vacation rental homes throughout the US and Europe and continue to do so. From this, we've learned what amenities in the house and communications from the host makes for a wonderful stay.

We started our hosting journey over 5 years ago with a vacation rental in Marco Island, Florida. (VRBO 4828834 5-stars) This unit is busy all year round so we have it managed by a professional management company. From their and travelers' suggestions, we are continually fine-tuning our hosting.

You might note both locations have similar design feels. We had a top interior designer completely design both locations to give you a premium experience.

We strive to provide quick, clear communication and a memorable stay.

One of our favorite things about "Third's a Charm" is how close it is to town. We love to park our car and never need it again until we leave.
