About this space
The Country Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.

This cabin features a country theme and provides a perfect place to relax on the porch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Guest access: The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. You will also have access to our on-site laundry room and propane barbecue under the pergola by our meadow.
Other things to note:
Please drive slowly and carefully on our entry road, especially at night. It can be dark here and we like to keep it that way so that you can enjoy the night sky from your cabin porch.

Paradise....

I stay at Bear Bluff Retreat because It's located near some of the best waterfalls in Tennessee. Most within a 30 min drive or less.The cabins are top rate and you can't beat the price.

Amazing view!

A perfect getaway to the Bear Bluff Retreat. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets from the porch. Very peaceful location!

Stay in Country Cabin

We loved our stay, the serenity and quiet trail. Looking over the bluff at Wrights Bend in Center Hill Lake was very peaceful. The cabin was decorated and designed in an enjoyable manner. Curt was helpful and kind anytime we had a concern or question!

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful view of the river. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in October. We hiked at the State Parks in the area. Very clean, nice cabin, I highly recommend. Safe and quiet. Would love to return in the future.

Gorgeous View & Great Hosts

We wanted to check out TN’s beautiful state parks & we’re looking for some place relaxing, cozy, & with beautiful views. This was it! The location has an amazing view off the balcony, isn’t far from multiple state parks for a fun DIY waterfall tour & was an easy drive to Nashville’s airport. We stayed in cabin 3 - Country Cabin. It was so clean & cute! The bed was comfortable, water pressure was great in the shower, & even though there are 3 cabins in a row, it still felt like our own little retreat. Curt & JoAnn are so welcoming & fun to talk to if you get the chance. It’s always nice staying at a VRBO where you know the hosts are actually happy to be doing it. We hope to visit again!

Perfect spot!

Curt & JoAnn's property is perfect! The view of the river is stunning, the property is kept up so nicely, and it's in a great location to get to the state parks. Curt & JoAnn also live on the property so if you need anything, they are very responsive! If you're looking for a peaceful spot, this is it. I enjoyed coffee and the sunrise every morning on the deck overlooking the river. We will be back!

Our anniversary vacation!

Beautiful location, amazing views, cabin was super clean and such a cute little country cabin feel. We absolutely loved every moment there. The bonfire sunsets where a great way to end each night. My husband and I will be coming back. Host were wonderful!

Cute cabin!

The cabin was nice for a quick weekend stay. We didn’t realize we would be right next to two other cabins. We have small children and probably wouldn’t have stayed here if we had known. It was very quiet and nice for just a couple however. It was very clean. The A/C is in the living room so the room did get hot at times. It was overall a good stay.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Not just the view from the deck but inside the cabin also. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend staying here. Just wish our visit was longer!

Cozy and Relaxing

This was a comfortable, well kept retreat for two. Everything was new with every detail needed. Only sounds we heard were the birds chirping. We were up on a bluff surrounded by trees so it didn't get overly hot. We could sit on the deck or near the fire pit. If you're not familiar with the roads, it's best to arrive while it's still light out. The hosts were gracious, friendly and very accommodating.

Beautiful view

The cabin was comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. Our extended family visited us to cook hotdogs a nd smores over a campfire. All was very enjoyable.

It was the best vacation house we‘ve stayed at so far and the owners are doing a great job with their services. The view and the house was stunning. It was an unforgettable stay and it will definitely not be the last time we‘ve stayed there.

We couldn't have found the most perfect place for our vacation. The views were beautiful! I didnt really wantto leave our cabin but we did come down to enjoy the waterfalls, Cumberland Caverns, and Jack Daniels Distillery. Curt and JoAnn were amazing and quick to respond to requests. Could not have picked a better property! Everything we wanted or needed within the property and a reasonable amount of driving distance to places we wanted to visit. We will definitely be back!
