The Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.

This cabin features an adventure theme and provides a perfect launch for hiking, kayaking and other outdoor adventures. We have 3 cabins and 3 RV sites at Bear Bluff Retreat so that you can bring some friends & family by reserving what you need. Each cabin is ideal for a single, couple, or family with small children.

Cozy Cabin in a Peaceful Setting

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Bluff Retreat. The cabin was super clean and we didn’t have any issues the whole weekend. Bed was comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. The view from the back deck was just breath taking. My wife and I loved taking in that view with our morning coffee! All we could hear were the birds and the wind blowing in the trees. Owners had great communication. We even met one of them in passing and had a nice little chat. Gave us some good hiking recommendations. Would definitely recommend this for a peaceful getaway!

Great experience

This was a great property and in a perfect location. Everything we needed was available. The cabin was very clean and well decorated. The outside deck was a perfect way to start and end the day.

Perfect cozy cabin

You will love your stay in this beautiful wooden cozy cabin. The view is spectacular. Joann and Curt thought of everything you will need to have a comfortable stay and have stocked the cabin to accommodate you. They even leave a detailed binder with instructions to where to find things in the cabin to local trails, attractions and restaurants.

Our stay was perfect! The cabin is exactly what you see in the online pictures. The location is pure tranquility!!! Would definitely like to do a repeat at this location.

The Adventure Cabin is Amazing

The property is Amazing. Just what we needed for our Holiday getaway. Very peaceful. 45 min away from many State Parks. I didn't want to leave. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I cant wait to come back

This place is AMAZING!

My husband and I wanted a weekend away from everything just to hangout, reconnect and enjoy some alone time without kids, parents, pets, everything. I had found this online when searching for secluded locations. This place is absolutely beautiful! The adventure cabin is so adorable, well stocked there was nothing that I could think of that this place needed that it didn't have. It was so quiet that you could hear the resident squirrel burying his winter food! The view is to die for and that sunset! Just Wow! we had stopped at the butcher before we arrived on Friday and got food to cook on Saturday night we utilized the grill area and had an amazing dinner! I wanted to gatekeep this but it just would not be fair to others to do so! If you are looking and are on the fence don't be, Adventure Cabin and the area it is located did not disappoint!

Refuge

I sought peace and solitude for my retreat away and that is exactly what I got at Bear Bluff Retreat. The cabin was neat, clean and very cute! I enjoyed immensely spending drizzly days on the deck with that magnificent view. I will definitely recommend it to friends who are looking for a cozy get-away!

Awesome Stay!

We unfortunately arrived during a hurricane so didn’t get much opportunity to explore or leave the cabin, but for a cozy relaxing weekend in, it was perfect. The cabin was so well stocked - some of the best I’ve ever experienced - all communication was clear and timely, and the whole weekend was made great thanks to the awesome property. Bonus that it was pet friendly and got to bring our pup. Would absolutely stay again!

Perfect Getaway

Very nice place that is quiet for some RR away from the craziness of work and kids. Wife and I enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean and cute little cabin with an outstanding view of the lake. We will be back for sure!!!

Great View near Outdoor Activities

Being close to Rock Island, fall Creek Falls and Burgess state parks drew me to this clean cozy cabin fora first visit. Now I’m looking forward to a return as the space was perfect for some downtime, book reading, cooking my own meals, all with beautiful water views and a nice little outside deck. Everything about staying here was easy and nice - away from it all but close to a lot!

Beautiful stay

A lovely little cabin with all the accomodations necessary for a perfect get-away. 20 min away from a charming town and state parks. We enjoyed our time jusy hanging out in the cabin as well as hiking, horseback riding, and a day trip to Nashville. Very clean, easy check in and the ride to and from is absolutely breathtaking.

Felt like home

Every touch, from decor to things available were perfect. The view was perfect and so relaxing. Probably one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, and I always check reviews for cleanliness! Would 100% stay again, and recommend to family/friends.
