The space
Our cabin is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom two-story house. The downstairs area has a cozy living space and is open to the large and well-equipped kitchen and dining area. You’ll find all the appliances you need and lots of counters and cabinet space. There are two bedrooms downstairs, the master bedroom with a desk and ensuite bathroom, as well as a queen bedroom. There is a second full bathroom on the main floor with a washer & dryer.

Upstairs you’ll enter an open loft area with toys, two Nugget couches, and a large-screen TV (streaming services & Samsung TV only). A perfect place to play and unwind. There are two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs as well. One of the rooms has a queen bed, and the other is a bunk room with a bunk bed and a full-size bed. You’ll also find a pack-n-play with sheets in the bunk room closet.

In the backyard, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of nature. In winter you can make a great sledding hill and in summer a nice place to explore the outdoors. In the summer you can fire up the BBQ and enjoy a meal outside or relax on the outdoor furniture while the kids search for pinecones and treasures.

Guest access
This cabin is a perfect gateway to adventure. In the winter, you are within 20 minutes of world-class skiing at Palisades (formerly Squaw Valley), Northstar, and Sugar Bowl. Or, if you’re new to snow sports, you might be more comfortable at Tahoe Donner Downhill (a 7-minute drive from the cabin) or Soda Springs.

In summer, you will have access to a private beach at Donner Lake, where you can play in or on the water with your paddleboard, kayaks, and more. There are countless incredible hiking trails throughout the area. Located just 4 miles from downtown Truckee, if outdoor sports aren’t your thing, or you need a break, you’re at the doorstep of great coffee, bars, restaurants, and local shopping.

Right in the Tahoe Donner area, you will have access to two rec centers with swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, gyms, and more. There are also tennis courts, a golf course, cross-country skiing trails, snow play, and hiking.

Other things to note
Use of Tahoe Donner facilities and private beach requires an additional fee - that fee is discounted with the guest passes provided in the cabin. Blackout dates: MLK, Presidents, Memorial, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving weekends + between Christmas & New Year.

One parking spot is available inside the garage with room for 3 cars on the driveway.

No pets are allowed on the property.
