Proche des commerces. L'une des rares propriétés à Ruidoso qui a un accès facile toute l'année.

Quartiers séparés parfaits comme suite parentale, avec sa propre kitchenette, salon et salle de bain complète. Dispose également de deux foyers électriques et s'ouvre sur le cadre serein de la rivière dans la cour arrière. Le gazebo se trouve à côté de la rivière et accueille des sièges pour tout le monde. Un foyer pour la torréfaction de guimauve ou une soirée tranquille avec un verre de vin.

Thanksgiving getaway

We had an amazing time with family! The house was well equipped and large enough for our group. The game room was a huge hit and so was the firepit/outdoor area.

Perfect Spot for a Long Weekend

The house was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. There are many entertainment options at the house (games, movies, TVs, fire pit) and it is located close to town and the casino. We would definitely stay again.

Home away from home

This was our second time staying here, we love it! Nice just to relax with the family. The river is amazing. We love the decor and the house is centrally located. Everything we needed was 5-8 minutes away. We will be back again 😁

Unique, good mountain home

It’s a very unique house that worked great for my family of 6 and a family of 4. The kids loved the creek and the game room. The parents loved how close everything was to the house and how big the house was. It’s a great mountain escape house and the owner was very responsive and helpful with our couple of questions.

River House

Very beautiful home, very clean, spacious, great for a family getaway. Close to stores in case you forget something. We loved the creek in the back yard and roasting marshmallows near the creek. Great house. Host was very attentive when we had a question. I would rent this one again.

North meets Southwest

I flew from Alaska to meet up with family in Ruidoso. We chose this property for the open spaces (living room, dining, game room) to reconnect. In this regard, it was a great fit. Additionally, we liked the peaceful backyard with the incredible babbling brook! There were a couple of issues upon arrival regarding housekeeping and another before leaving, but management was courteous and timely in response. The most important point for me was quality time with family. Overall, we had a good visit!

Lovely, quirky, spacious rental

My family and I stayed here for a week while visiting family. The house is spacious, with two kitchen areas and three living/game areas. My kids had a blast in the gameroom - the ping pong and foosball tables were both a big hit. We walked to Funtrackers for bumper boats, go-karts, etc. and the kids loved spending time by the river in the back yard. Be aware that there are two bedrooms upstairs, which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for some. The house is well-appointed, but David is super responsive if needs arise. We would absolutely rent this unit again.

Pleasantly Surprised

Great choice for larger groups. As the saying goes, Don’t judge a book by it’s cover... Inside is decorated perfectly! Joanna Gaines has to have been here!!! Ample room for All, Very convenient location and charming. Creek behind the house is fun. Game room was great! An abundance of TVs. Kitchen was well stocked. Fire pit was great for Grandkids and S’mores! If planning outdoor activities check the hours of Go Cart track which is directly behind the property. Can be Pretty noisey.

A little disappointed

Accommodations were as described but a note of caution for those affected by dust or noise. A dusty Go-Cart track operation operates directly across the creek and behind this property. This may impact your enjoyment if you plan to spend much of your time sitting outside in these accommodations during the day.

Perfect for a getaway with kids

Several times a year, we get together in Ruidoso with friends from high school. After 20 years, we now all have kids and we need space for them as well. This was perfect. It is right next door to Funtrackers. We sent the older kids over with money and it was awesome!!! Grownups didn't have to go! There was plenty of lounging space in the house with multiple couches and extra chairs to pull up to a table that is already oversized. The kids loved the game room and since they aren't experts at anything, they didn't care about the condition of the pool table. They had fun and that is what counts. The kitchen is small but we used the table for extra prep space when needed. No big deal. Too many cooks in the kitchen is irritating anyway. The back yard is awesome and we have already decided we need to come back for the summer when we can lounge at the picnic table. Although the fire pit did get used! I will also say that Arlene was the best to work with! We had a family matter that prevented us from using our original date and she was spectacular in working with us for another weekend.

Beautiful Unique Home

We had a wonderful time. The home decorations are well done. Every spot has it's own unique charm. Owner is easy to get a hold of for any questions you may have. River was the best part for our family...we ate outside for as many meals as we could. We are already booking our next trip!!!

Fun Times!

This home suited our needs perfectly. We were looking for a home base to host a large group of family members who were staying nearby. There was plenty of outdoor space for dining, visiting and play for the little ones. Beautiful, well-maintained, spacious home. We will be returning!

Great rental and location!

My family and I had a nice one-night stay at this property. Wish it could have been longer. There were 5 adults and 2 kids and plenty of room for us all. The game room is nice for family fun and the gazebo with the firepit by the river was an added bonus to enjoy. It is within walking distance to FunTrackers and not a far drive from downtown. We would stay there again.

Great Property, Wonderful Owners

The best aspect of this house is the house/property and the owners. The house is very tastefully decorated . The house was large enough to accommodate our group of 10. There is a massive game room in the middle of the house; the best part is that you can shut doors. The kids could be as loud as they wanted, and it never bothered the rest of the house. There is also a separate “mother-in-law” suite which is like its own tiny space. The house was well stocked with plenty of hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent and even laundry detergent. We have stayed in rental properties all over and so many owners forget to include these things. Another unexpected item: the shower in the main house is AMAZING! There is ample parking in front of the house, and it sits far enough off the road that you do not hear any cars driving by. The backyard is straight amazing! There are numerous sitting areas, a small house for the kids to play in, and the cutest fire pit and sitting area right next to the most beautiful creek! The cold weather was perfect for smores and hot chocolate! The whole space is just beautiful, and I wish we could see what it’s like during the summer! The owners, David and Arlene, are very kind. Both are very responsive when asking questions through VBRO or even by text. They went above and beyond for us. I cannot express how pleased we were with their attentiveness and service. My only critiques of this property are this: be super careful when you heat the oven. My brother went to retrieve a cookie sheet that was stored beneath the oven after we had warmed it up and badly burned himself. There is exactly one closet in this house, which is not very helpful. Two out of the three bedrooms have beds that are super comfortable, however, the queen bed upstairs was not comfortable at all. Finally, the neighborhood that surrounds this property is a bit sketchy; to be clear, we had no issues at all and luckily there's a high fence to hide all that. However, there is a positive side to this as well: the property is so centrally located in Ruidoso. You can get almost anywhere you want to be in about 5-10 minutes. Overall, this property is amazing and I highly recommend it. We are in Ruidoso often as our family has a house there (it was pretty full with the wedding party), so I can’t say that we would be needing to rent another house any time soon, but if we did, we would definitely return here.

My name is Arlene Edwards. My parents built the house the year I was born in 1959. My father Alfred and mother Cidelia raised 8 children in this house, with 1 bathroom --just imagine.
I purchased the house after my mother died in 1985. She was 46 years old. I bought the house and finished raising my 5 younger brothers and 2 daughters in this same home. This house holds lots of wonderful memories and brought lots of joy to our family. We still celebrate our Christmas together in this home, with as many as 5 christmas trees, more food than can be eaten and sometimes as many as 100 people. No, we don't have a sit down dinner but we do play lots of musical chairs thoughout the night. If you get up you basically loose your seat. We totally enjoy our time together as we watch the younger children attack Santa when he comes in the door. So we continue to make special memories year after year. We hope that you, your families and your friends enjoy this house as much as we have through the years. We also hope that you find peace and relaxation and hurry back to spend time at Rio Del Oso our special home in beautiful Ruidoso NM.
