GREAT STAY!!!

So much room for all of us and it had everything we could have needed!!! So close to everything!! We had a great vacation!!! Will definitely stay here again. Beautiful and clean and stocked with everything!!!

The location was a great base of operations for our Spring Break visit. The owner communicated with us, and the check in/out process was simple. The wi-fi was a bit slow, but I wasn't there to game or stream video, so I don't count that as a real negative. The rooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. The stairs were narrow as noted in other reviews, but they weren't a big problem for me or my kids.

If you are down for public transportation, it is very easy to enjoy the whole city! The place is very clean and silent neighborhood :)

Great for the Chicago Marathon!

This was a great spot for our group for the Chicago Marathon! Easy access to the train to make all the stops for racers and supporters alike.

Great location, bus stop is right outside the door! Our host was fantastic, she gave us information and ideas about some places to visit. Highly recommended!

Convenient location, roomy

Everything was very clean, entire unit was very spacious and the hosts were great! Located a short 10 min drive from Millenium park, soldier stadium, etc. Neighborhood had some renovations going on but was quiet with easy parking. Would book again!!!

Perfect location for McCormick Place trade show

The proximity to McCormick Place and grocery stores was perfect for our first time exhibiting. The convenient, free on-street parking made coming & going a breeze. Samanta was very kind and helpful; giving restaurant suggestions for the area. It was also fantastic to receive a text response saying we didn't need to take out trash or strip beds because, "You are our guests". Our trip went better than I could have ever expected in part due to this convenient, reasonably priced property.

Nice spot in north Bronzeville

This apartment was perfect for our friend group for a weekend in Chicago. It is about 10-20 minutes from downtown depending on traffic. The house included most basic amenities and was in a fairly quiet neighborhood.

Close to where we needed to be.

Came for a basketball tourney at the McCormick. This apt. is a 5 minute Uber or 25 minute walk north. Has some trouble getting checked in but after contacting the manager everything went smoothly.

Pretty Nice but minor flaws

Almost a perfect stay. Just a few issues that might be resolved by the time next guests arrive. There was construction going on which caused us to lose access to water for a short while, and some dust and debris on stairs from drywall installation. We saw a little uninvited guest (baby roach) but just that tiny one made a visit. Lastly, rear bedroom temperature was not the same as the other rooms. So the person in that room wasn’t as comfy. The neighborhood was great and walkable to stores and other sites.

Family trip to Chicago

What a wonderful place to stay while in Chicago. Neighbors in the building were friendly and welcomed us to chicago when we met them in the hall. Apartment was up to date, clean and well furnished with everything we needed. We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was near a bus line and walking distance to the green line rail to pop downtown. There are several flights of stairs to the apartment but it wasnt a bother in all honesty. We parked on the street and didnt have any concern about our vehicles safety. Host was nice, prompt and so helpful when we forgot something after we left and had to go back. Absolutely will stay here again if ever in Chicago.

The property is very nice, comfortable - especially the beds. The host contacted me when I had some questions. ...worked with me when needed...was gracious and welcomed us... The place is very clean with nice amenities. The stairs to the 3rd floor are steep and winding. That should be stated in the description...Our group could climb them...but one person who was originally planning on being with us would not have been able to handle them.

While this review gets 4-5 stars in each category, I definitely want people to know that this was A THIRD FLOOR APARTMENT, WHICH MEANT 39 steps each way. I saw nothing telling us that in the description and this was critical info for us. Had my mom decided to come she could NOT have done that and we would have been in trouble!! We were left with only 1 toilet due to not being able to get it fixed in the five days we were there, not sure what could have been done, but again, this was disappointing since I specifically only looked for places with 2 bathrooms for 5 people staying. We were told that we were welcome to use the second floor open apartment but I'm not up for going up and down 40 more steps to use the restroom. The pictures of the amount of space are accurate and that was awesome to have so much room, and also the hostess was there to get us and was super nice. Location was nice, walking distance to groceries, gas, Starbucks, Walgreens, culver's and more.

Long weekend stay for the Chicago marathon

The place was exactly what we were looking for, spacious, clean, cute, well served, excellent kitchen and common area, full of light, in a great location. Semanta provided timely answers and great intel for the area, fantastic host (thank you, Semanta). Would definitively go back!

Beautiful home in Bronzeville

Great stay at this newly renovated property just south of downtown Chicago. Easy walk (approx 15 minutes) to both green and red line trains and to the White Sox stadium. Ample parking immediately in front of the home. This is a 3rd floor walk up with narrow stairs. Owner was very friendly and responsive to messages, kitchen was fully equipped, linens provided, showers have soap and shampoo/conditioner in dispensers. Comfy couch in living space with roku TV. Master bed is very comfy (but noisy), double bed is very soft, 2nd queen is very firm. Neighborhood is well maintained. Great value for accommodations so close to many major landmarks. Would have loved for the owner to have a guest book to leave recommendations and thanks.
