Great place to stay!

The house was very cute, and is perfectly located near the beach. Gladys was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. Look forward to staying at the house again soon!

Great House & Location!

This house was great for our family of 5. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, wonderful outdoor shower. Two short blocks to the beach access!

Great Beach Cottage

This is a great beach cottage with convenient and easy access to the beach. House was better than expected. Very clean and well stocked. Neighborhood was safe feeling and in a good location. Owner was responsive to messages and very accommodating with request. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Wonderful Get Away

This little cottage was perfect for our long weekend get away. Perhaps one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in! Communication was excellent and the location could not be neat. We felt very much at home and had all the comforts we needed. The proximity to the beach made our days so pleasant. We hope to return again for another weekend get away.

Beach time 😊

Nicely maintained, older single family beach cottage. The kitchen and bathroom have been completely remodeled. The entire house is nicely furnished and decorated. In addition to the climate controlled interior there are several outdoor areas for gathering (deck, shaded ground floor and fire pit area. We hope to make it back someday soon. Good times and great accommodations.

Perfect little beach house!

We loved it! It was the perfect size for our family of 4, and being just 2 blocks from the beach entrance was awesome! It had everything we needed, and the full kitchen and washer/dryer was so helpful. Also the outdoor shower and hose was super helpful coming back from the beach too. The only downside I can think of is that the main bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke, and that wasn’t great since I’m sensitive to smells. Otherwise we would definitely return :)

Very cute, clean, and overall wonderful!

Such a lovely place to come back to after a busy day of activities and everything is so close it's easy to plan things out or do something on the fly and if nothing else the short walk to the beach is even easier. Making meals at the home were also made much less of hassle with the well stocked kitchen, plenty of utensils and cookware. Nothing but pleasant interactions with the home owner who always had a quick response and made planning the trip even easier especially when accommodating our second pet, with a small fee of course, so nobody was left behind. The outdoor shower made keeping sand and messes to a minimum and was definitely nice when cleaning up the sandy pups. Absolutely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Leigh, VRBO will give you a refund of $540.19 which the portion they were going to pay us. You'll get this money within 5 days. When one of your relatives called me I told them that if you wanted to leave and go to a hotel that would be ok because then VRBO would have had no choice than to refund you their fees and the taxes. You guys decided to stay. I told your son that the tax and VRBO fees are out of my control. You stayed from 5/10 to 5/12 for about $218 and I think that that is fair.

Good Location/Scent Sensitivity Note

Upfront I am going to say that for anyone that has a sensitivity to smell, the place smells like cigarette smoke. While the property is listed as a non-smoking property, it definitely has a cigarette smoke smell. In reviewing past comments, I now see that someone else made this comment. I'm putting it upfront so it is not missed for those that may need to know. Besides that, the place is good. The location is the best feature; the proximity to beach and restaurants is ideal. Easy walking distance. It's a cute small house, it has a nice porch and nice outdoor shower for after the beach. The bedrooms are fair. The 2nd bedroom has the strongest odor. The main bedroom, the bed is just Ok. The bed is very bouncy/creaky. If you are sleeping alone it is fine. But I shared the bed one night with my son and found that anytime one person moves, the bed makes so much noise and bounce that it keeps the other person awake. I will also add that if you include a pet, which is very convenient, there is a pet fee that the host charges after the reservation is confirmed. You don't see it up-front, so just know to plan/inquire about the additional fee. They also require damage insurance for all reservations, which I haven't had to pay with other properties. Check in was clunky, hence the 2stars on that. Overall, I would give it 3 stars, mostly due to the smoke smell. But for those that don't care, I rated it overall a 4 star as it was a cute place close to the beach.
