Amazing location! Enjoy a relaxing stay in this clean, cozy, historical Saint Paul home. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms. Located on Summit Avenue, which is known for being the longest avenue of Victorian homes in the country, having several historic houses, churches, synagogues, and schools. Just a few blocks from St. Thomas University and Macalester College. Park your car on the street or in the garage and head out to see all Saint Paul has to offer! Just a short walk to many shops, a movie theater, and restaurants, as well as the Mississippi River. Great walking/running trails along the river. In the summer, downtown Saint Paul has a great farmers' market on weekends.
In town for a wedding? It's a great spot for a wedding party or small rehearsal dinner. In town for a college graduation? It's a great spot for a small gathering. (There is an extra fee for parties.) Our home sleeps 9 people comfortably. One bedroom has a king-size bed, and the other two have queen beds, one has a twin, and the last one has a full-size bed. Take a warm bath in the old-fashioned bathtub. Whip up some yummy meals in our fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances & a Wolf gas range. The dining room seats 8. The living room has a big TV with cable and Netflix. We have on-site laundry—a lovely backyard with a table and chairs.
There is a Weber grill in the backyard as well. You are less than 15 minutes from the airport and the Mall of America. Why not take in a Twins game or see the new Guthrie Theater, which is architecturally breathtaking. Maybe your goal is to see the place where Mary Tyler Moore threw her hat into the air.
