If youâre looking to stay close to the UW campus and just need a place to crash, this place is great. Itâs right in the middle of UW Greek houses, so youâre amongst tons of youth. Nothing too rowdy, just know what youâre getting in to.
The space was perfect for my wife and I, a bed and a bathroom, we donât need much else. Communication with the host was good, information was provided promptly when needed.
The host cancelled our stay the day we arrived to Seattle and we had to find another place to stay. He did not helped us at all. We had to pay Double for the new accomodation.
It was clean but not exceptional. There were definitely signs that a detailed cleaning had not been done in a long time. The building itself was terrible. It was filthy, not maintained, and filled with student occupants (more like a dorm than an "apartment"). It reminded me of living in a military barracks except these people obviously never cleaned.
I'd say if you are traveling alone and need a place to crash then this is worth the value. Otherwise, I suggest looking elsewhere as this is a place not equipped for a functioning adult.
The room itself was perfectly functional if you're coming into town for a few days and need a place to stay. Wifi was fast, room was clean, and the space was small but effective. The location was also very walkable to anywhere around UW.
My only caveat: I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who's a light sleeper. The building is located near a bunch of frats and the walls in the building are super thin, so there's pretty constant noise. If you're okay with that, it works nicely!

The building is 10 minutes walk to University of Washington and just walking distance to some other commercial institutions. Walking distance to transit/ subway, commuter rail, parks and recreations and close to downtown Seattle.
My listing is one of the cheapest in this Gem area. The building is walking distance to University of Washington and some other commercial institutions. Walking distance to transit/ subway, commuter rail, parks and recreations and close to downtown Seattle. The building is close to other Universities in Seattle as well.
