The Space:

The Wander Inn is the perfect place to restore and relax with your loved ones. You will be in a prime location that is just steps away from the several dining and shopping options offered in downtown Blowing Rock. Whether you are looking for a restful getaway or an outdoor adventure, this peaceful home will satisfy you.



This home is split into two units. The main unit can be accessed through the front door, there are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms in the main part. The second unit is attached to the main unit, but must be accessed through a door that is on the side of the home. There is one bedroom, one full bathroom, kitchen and living in the additional unit. If you are interested in renting just one of these units, please let us know. The home backs up to the adorable Blowing Rock Antiques store and Famous Toastery, making it the perfect spot for a day of shopping and delicious brunch with friends.

We loved the location of this house and it was very roomy and comfortable. We would love to stay her again. Host was VERY responsive. Overall, great stay!

We had a great time in Blowing Rock and this property was a big part of the reason. The location is excellent! The property was clean and pictures were accurate. It could use some attention to the yard and some areas in the home show wear and tear. But, for the price and location, it's a great option!

Great location for a family trip

We had a great time and plenty of space for our two families to relax and be within walking distance of town. We had such a good time we’re planning ti make it an annual thing and hope to be able to book here again.

Steps away from Main Street

This is the second time my family has stayed at this property and is the perfect location to enjoy the beauty of Blowing Rock. Easy check and and check out and quick communication with the property managers.

Great location and house

House was unassuming from the outside, but the inside was totally remodeled and very nice. Everything has been updated and it was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our extended family to eat, sleep and relax. Location is great! We were able to walk to restaurants and there is an adorable antique store right in the backyard.

Cute, clean, comfortable.

We were traveling with 10 adults in our party and this was the perfect stay for us. Everyone had comfortable bed and there was plenty of seating for all of us to be in living area to socialize. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. There was plenty of parking and it was very close to downtown blowing rock with lots of cute shops and many dining options that are also very close. Would definitely stay again.

We had two main priorities when looking for a location in Blowing Rock. We needed the house to large enough to house 10 people comfortably and we wanted to be within walking distance to the town. This place fit the bill perfectly AND it was clean and nicely furnished. The cherry on top was the rental company. They were easy to work with and very responsive. We did have an issue that I would be remiss if I didn’t mention. The plumbing system in this house gave us some trouble. We’re pretty savvy about plumbing issues so it didn’t take us long to figure out the is with the city and not the house. In the leasing company’s defense they called the city and the city came out and tried to address the situation (we have pictures. However, it was clear that the issue was not totally resolved (more pictures). The problem didn’t present itself unless there were a lot (10) people actively taking showers, washing dishes, and using the toilet. The leasing company was very responsive and did the best they could to resolve the situation. We also did our best to understand, be reasonable and work with them. I 100 percent recommend this property and may even book it again some day.
