The description of the house is exactly as stated. It is well-appointed. The beds are comfortable and attention to detail make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in. The sunny covered patio seating is a bonus. The casita was just right for our stay.
Graciela was a very responsive host. We have been on a three week road trip and this was the cleanest and neatest property we stayed at. The back yard is very pretty too. We were 6 adults and it was a little tight in the kitchen for all of us but being able to pour out into the back yard was lovely. Salinas was a very convenient town and close to Monterey and Carmel. We would definitely stay here again.
We rented this place for the Sea Otter Bike Expo and Race and it was perfect for our group of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). Clean, easy, great back porch and nice garage to store bikes and gear .Thank you
Everything was clean and tidy. We even had a diagram on where to place the clean plates. The backyard light show was a cool touch. We enjoyed dinner out back on the table. We'd love to stay here again
We spent two nights here as a family while visiting the area in March of 2025. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and restaurants. Easy drive to Monterey or other nearby areas in the Salinas valley. Although the house itself is small (a âcasitaâ after all) the 3 bedrooms are surprisingly large and even have closets (plus one has a half bath). The backyard is enchanting and relaxing. Grace is an excellent and thoughtful host and everything was in order when we arrived. Everything was as described and the house was clean and neat. We would definitely stay here again!
Our party of three enjoyed a very pleasant weekend stay. Host Grace was very responsive to our questions. Both the exterior and interior of the property were well-maintained. All rooms were very clean, tidy and comfortably furnished. The backyard area is attractively landscaped and invites quiet relaxation. A minor quibble is the whole front sidewalk is the type with rounded curb and gutter â without a sloping driveway â making off-street parking awkward for vehicles with low road clearance.
The cottage was just right for our overnight stay in Salinas, as we traveled from Monterey to Gilroy.
There is only 1 full bathroom, hall bathroom. The master bedroom only has a half bathroom. The kitchen is small, making it tight eating at the table with 4 adults.
Front porch steps (3) might be an accessibility issue for some individuals.
