Oceanfront 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo inside gated complex. Access to the island's only private fishing pier. View amazing sunrises from your own balcony. Newly renovated throughout with comfortable furnishings. 

The master bedroom has a king bed and an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The guest bath is in the hallway next to the guest room and has a tub shower combination. The guest room has a queen bed and a day bed that converts to a full bed.

This is a relaxed, quiet condominium community, close to everything. The private pier really adds to the experience. Love being able to see the ocean from the pool. Check in and out is easy. Responsive property owner/manger. We will be back.

Nice family vacation

The unit was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. Check in and check out was super easy and convenient. Communication with the host was great. The welcome snack basket was a nice gesture, my 3 children enjoyed it very much.

Best vaca

My family and I had the best time on our Labor Day vacation. The condo had everything we could’ve needed and more. Communication/directions on how to navigate things were great!! We will definitely stay again.

Relaxing 4th of July

Clean, modern decor, comfy beds, large plush couch and great tv. We tend to cook on vacation to save a bit, Kristi and team were very responsive helping us sort out missing bowls for kids cereal on day one. Awesome stay!

Comfortable!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Amelia by the Sea. The condo was clean and organized. Everything was easily accessible and we lived being close to downtown Fernandina.

Perfect Getaway!

Submariner’s Delight was the perfect place for our getaway. The quick steps to the pool and Ocean were exactly what we wanted and this condo didn’t disappoint. We also liked it was gated and so convenient to the quaint downtown area restaurants and shops. We definitely will be back!

Perfect Getaway

Kristi was great to work with. Easy communication and quick responses. The unit is nicely updated with a great view. It's perfect for a quick getaway. Great location not far from everything you need.

Perfect stay!

We were so happy with our stay in this condo! It was clean, spacious, and newly renovated inside. Smart TVs and comfortable furniture in all rooms. Steps away from the pool and beach. Check in and check out were super easy. Fantastic communication with Kristi. Close to lots of restaurants and downtown. We loved walking across the street to eat, drink, and play darts at The Surf! You won’t regret staying here!

Family time at Amelia by the Sea

This room was very comfortable. The only issue I had was that they tried to limit us to one parking pass when we were coming down in two separate vehicles. In the past we have always had two parking passed per condo. If they limit visitors to one parking pass per condo in the future I will have to take my business elsewhere. I have to believe that the owners of the condos have access to two parking spots. I spoke to some visitors that actually got three parking passes but everyone else that I spoke to got two. So there don't seem to be a very consistent policy to start with.

Thank you for the nice review. The HOA board decided last year to limit parking spaces to one car per unit and a second pass if available. I told you this when I told you I was going to get you a second pass. I would be very interested to know who had 3 passes and I am certain the condo management would like to know as well. Please send me an email or a text with the information and I will send it to the board. People that take advantage with 3 passes is the reason why the rules were changed to one car.

Amelia by the Sea

Great views. Pier was a bonus. Good location. If we could change anything it would be parking. Very challenging at times. Big truck parked poorly and prevented us access into our vehicle. Parked across the space verses in it. No information tag in it. Overall good place to stay and we would return there.

Hazardous accommodations

The beds in the MBR and the 2nd BR are platform bed constructed of wood with sharp corners concealed by the bed spreads. While walking past the bed by left leg came in contact with the corner of the bed and I sustained a serious scraping would that resulted in skin from my shin being deposited on the bed spread accompanied by bleeding for which I had to go to a late night pharmacy to purchase first aid supplies. The response from the mgr was that no previous occupants had ever experienced that before. My adult daughter experienced the same situation in the 2nd BR, fortunately she did not experience the loss of skin or localized bleeding. My wife had an experience like my daughter. The rooms are small and it is virtually impossible to avoid the shin of one’s leg coming in contact with the corner of the bed when walking in the bedroom. The faucet on the kitchen sink was extremely loose; it wobbled if you touched it. We arrived on Thu, mgr said that it would be repaired on Sun, the day before we checkout. Upon arrival we heard a high pitch noise eminating from the refrig. An investigation revealed a high pressure spray escaping from the ice maker water supply line. I expressed my disdain about the long wait for the kitchen faucet to be repaired so she managed to find someone to fix both problems on the next day. The elevator is creaky and it lacked a certificate of inspection. Checking in was not easy. Instructions said go to the blue box on the wall of the office.

I am very sorry you did not enjoy your stay, but I must correct a few falsehoods from this review. There is not a platform bed in the guest room of this property, nor was there any blood found on the white comforters we have on the beds. The complex had both elevators serviced with all new panels iinstalled in both less than a month ago, with certification posted clearly. The truth is you spent 5 days in a property, then after your vacation you demanded 50% or more off your stay or you would leave a bad review. Other guests will see where the truth lies.
