The overall cleanliness was well below what we feel was an acceptable stand. Other than the made beds, it did not appear as though a professional cleaning service had been to the home ever. The outside furniture was strewn about and the garbage that had been left outside by the people before us was torn apart by an animal leaving garbage all over the yard. The kitchen was absolutely gross, from the filthy cabinets to the poor quality of cooking essentials. There was not a pot or pan that I would be willing to use. To our horror, we woke to maggots crawling around the kitchen floor. The shower in the bathroom off the bedroom near the deck does not drain. Additionally we did also noted that the filter maintenance was more than 13 days overdue on the hot tub. Yuck!The list goes on and on! Our attempt to contact the host was met with an automated response and no resolution.

My two sons and I had a wonderful time in this great cabin in Vermont. The radiant heat was luxurious. The fireplace was nice to enjoy after a long day. The remodeled bathrooms were done very very nicely. We’re definitely come back and stay here again.

Beautiful, very clean house. Hot tub was great! The kitchen is very well equipped. Plenty of cinnamon and nutmeg in the cabinet for baking!

Family visit

This place was very enjoyable, it was just 3 of us so there was more than enough room. It is a very comfortable home and we enjoyed the easy trip into Manchester for some meals and a wonderful day of hiking some great nearby trails.

Family ski getaway

This place was absolutely perfect and wonderful. It offered a cozy family getaway to enjoy the southern Vermont scene that we have grown to love so very much. The house and owner are absolutely amazing and we hope to stay here again for our trips back to this area. Highly recommend!

The house was in good condition and very clean. The Hot Tub was recently replaced and in working condition but the path from the house was not shoveled and was therefore difficult to access from the house. The host was extremely responsive. The TV stopped working the day before the Super Bowl and the host had a new TV installed on Sunday prior to the game. Overall a great stay!

Was disappointed to find out after booking that the hot tub would not be available. I was then given a 100 per night refund for the lack of this amenity. Location was 15 minutes to Stratton which was convenient.

Luxury in the Forest

We loved this property nestled in the Green Mountain forests - the dramatic great room is absolutely stunning and all the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and luxurious. The decks are really amazing and hot tub is great surrounded in forest!

Tranquil Haven

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Surrounded by a lush green forest, the house was well-appointed and had everything we could have wanted. The beds were very comfortable and we thought the bathrooms were as high-end as any 5-star hotel. It had a rustic charm as well as a nice kitchen, and good internet too. Wonderful stay!

Great first trip to VT!

We had a great stay, the house was fantastic, as expected. Close to restaurants and shopping as well as outdoor activities! We do not ski, but the place seemed to be well suited for those who do (mud room with room for skis, and a hot tub for after skiing!!). Would look to stay again.

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I, along with our 4 young adult kids had an awesome four day getaway. The house was perfect for our family and there was so much to do in the area: hiking, swimming, fishing, shopping, eating. We would've loved to have stayed longer.
