Modular Luxury Casita w/Pool

Summary:

A Modern Modular Casita, or 'Modsita' as we call it, sits on a 17-acre property with (but separated from) our Wine Country Ranch, it's a truly amazing oasis with spectacular views!

Modsita shares a 17-acre property with our Wine Country Ranch at 1,200 ft. above the quaint Napa County town of Calistoga. Built in 2018 by Connect-Homes, a luxury modular home builder, and decorated by acclaimed designer, McMullen and Co. in a Danish style design, this showplace is a stunner! In addition to the spacious main living quarters and open-concept kitchen, this guest home features close to 900 sq. ft. of outdoor living area surrounding its own "Modpool."

Facing the beautiful Mayacamas Mountains, this property is decorated with high-end designer furniture and fixtures featuring Design within Reach, Lostline, Ravenhill, Schoolhouse, ABC Carpet and more.



This is truly a magnificent property with views that will blow your mind!



The Space:

The open-concept eat-in kitchen wraps around a large marble waterfall island and features Bosch, KitchenAid, Miele appliances, fully automatic Saeco coffee system and designer dish-ware.

The living and dining areas comfortably seat six with the space centered on an Ann Sacks herringbone tile feature wall with built-in Valor fireplace to keep you warm and cozy on cooler nights.

Cozy bedrooms have Amerisleep mattresses, Restoration Hardware sheets, California Closets and natural wood floors that connect throughout the home.

The bathroom includes a marble shower and private water closet room and plenty of fluffy white Restoration Hardware towels and Napa Soap Company bath amenities.



4-panel sliding doors open onto 900 sq. ft. of kiln-dried cedar decking surrounding a 20 ft. Modpool container pool with its own window peering out to the Mayacamas Mountains. Comfortable Restoration Hardware furniture is organized to create lounge seating for four around a large fire pit at the edge of the deck, a covered dining area for six and a separate covered lounge for those few and far between rainy days.

Gorgeous property, and grounds. Remote and well-appointed but a short drive from downtown Calistoga and wineries. Lots of thoughtful details, plenty of space, fantastic pool, secluded and peaceful, beautiful walks in the area. Had a lovely time.

Private little beauty

Fabulous views, wildlife, and privacy. Very comfortable and clean home with a modern touch. Most of the time was spent on the deck, and the little pool was a sweet warm spot.

What a view over the outdoor patio!

Gorgeous place exactly as photographed. Very quiet and secluded. The beds were comfortable. The space was like new and very clean. Star gazing from the heated pool was stunning.

We had a great stay at this Napa home. The location was one of the highlights. It’s close enough to all of the wineries and restaurants to make getting around easy, yet just far enough out of town that it feels peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. It truly gives you the best of both worlds.The house itself was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for a relaxing getaway. The only area that could use a little attention is the pool space. The metal around the pool is noticeably rusted, which doesn’t show up in the listing photos, and some of the outdoor furniture is in pretty rough shape. A refresh in that area would take the property to an entirely different level.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider returning once the pool area gets a bit of an update. The location and the home offer a wonderful Napa experience.

This property felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, so secluded and romantic, literally perfection!! The host was super responsive by text, which made it super easy for any questions we had. We came to celebrate our early anniversary and this place exceeded my expectations. Will 100% be recommending this property to everyone wanting the perfect romantic getaway! The pool and hot tub were a big plus and we saw deer and rabbits outside every day it was truly magical!

Amazing views in a great location!

Such a perfect place to stay! The views were incredible. Mountain views, private serene nature, saw bunnies and deer outside our bedroom with floor to ceiling windows. Both bedrooms had great views and beds were very comfy. Outdoor deck with pool/hottub and fire pit created perfect romantic ambiance. Outdoor grill. House has great open floor plan with high class details and decor. No detail was overlooked. From fancy silverware to binoculars for viewing wildlife. Private location but near local wineries and hiking excursions. Host was very flexible with our itineraries and very welcoming and accommodating. We will most definitely be returning here on our next trip to Napa!

Best Staycation Ever!

Absolutely exquisite in every aspect and all categories of evaluation. Upon entering the Modista the we were met with fresh scent of relaxation and serenity. The property manager Arthur is welcoming , helpful and readily accessible. He eliminated any anxiety we had settling in and provided a well stocked refrigerator. The property is a well designed smart home with every detail for luxury vacation living at your fingertips . Very functional , beautifully furnished in RH throughout. The newly landscaped grounds overlooking lovely hillside vista and wildlife . The spa /pool was the perfect beginning and end of our days. We have found the perfect place for a quick getaway and look forward to our next visit a slice of heaven!

Fabulous Stay at 2 bedroom Calistoga Modsita with private pool.

This 2 bedroom casita (affectionately called modsita) is perfectly located in Calistoga. A short drive to all Calistoga conveniences but while on property it's a world away. Beautifully appointed home with private pool. We rented it in conjunction with the main house and it's so convenient to get to main house but perfectly private if rented separately. Stunning vistas. Rosa the housekeeper was simply the best. The owner was responsive at all phases-booking, check in, minor adjustments as needed. Downside is no cell service (if that's a downside) -just be prepared to use the wifi for text and e-mail as needed and pick up the land line if you need to make a call. I rate the location, house, pool, owner and service provided an A+.

Amazing! A charming luxurious modern casita

Perfection. A beautiful modern casita with all the luxury of a 5 star hotel - but with much more privacy and a personal touch! A highlight of the property is the generous deck with a pool that overlooks a stunning landscape. The property is nestled in a private picturesque area of Calistoga - surrounded by many ancient oak trees and rolling hills. An added bonus was the deer that run by frequently in the morning and at dusk - adding to the peaceful charm. And while we felt the calm of being away from it all - we also were very well located to easily access many wonderful wineries, restaurants, shopping and a beautiful spa! Arthur goes above and beyond to make his guests' stay comfortable and effortless - no detail is overlooked. We can't wait to return!
