Unwind in two elegant bedrooms for a peaceful night's sleep, plus an additional workspace with a pullout sofa bed for extra guests. Each room offers soft organic percale sheets and premium pillows. The first-floor bedroom features a memory foam Cal King bed, a private half-bathroom with laundry, and children’s amenities--toys, books and a travel crib. The upstairs loft suite, with a spacious Eastern King bed, showcases picturesque sunrise views over the Mojave National Preserve. While the loft provides enchanting vistas, it's open to sounds and light from the downstairs living area. For those sensitive to light and sound, we offer eye masks (when available) and recommend packing earplugs. Enjoy the sunrise magic from the comfort of your bed or simply step outside for the full experience. The third room, with stairs to the loft, includes a private workspace and a pull-out sofa bed with extra bedding for larger groups.

–BATHROOMS–
On the first floor, discover a full bathroom featuring a bathtub and bay window seating. Here, unwind with the provided moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Elevate your relaxation with bath salts, bubble bath, and locally scented candles, all while enjoying rejuvenating bathtub experiences with Joshua Tree views. For added convenience, an additional half-bath is in the first bedroom downstairs, equipped with a sink, toilet, and laundry facilities.

Step into our fully equipped kitchen, an integral part of the home's living space—an ideal layout for entertaining family and friends. The kitchen maintains it's original vintage style, and is equipped to cater to your culinary needs with all the essentials. A dedicated coffee station with Keurig cappuccino and latte maker, along with a Chemex pour-over coffee maker featuring local Joshua Tree coffee. Every kitchen necessity is at your fingertips, ensuring a seamless experience.

Adjacent to the kitchen, a spacious live-edge wood table accommodates 6-8 people, offering a warm and communal dining space. Or take your meals to the porch or venture outside for al fresco dining, surrounded by incredible views that elevate every dining experience.

We are pet-friendly! The pet fee is $125 which is automatically added to your nightly rate when you add the pet to your reservation.

GUEST SCREENING
We are committed to protecting our properties which is why we've partnered with Know Your Guest, the leading vacation rental guest-screening provider. Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details through Know Your Guest.

LOCATION
The home is located off a paved road where you will turn and go up a 100 ft unpaved uphill driveway. We are centrally located close to the national park entrance and village of Joshua Tree and with this proximity you can hear street noise. While we do not find it disturbing for a peaceful getaway close to our national park, if you are sensitive to noise or need a silent location, please note that you can hear street noise from our property.

EARLY/LATE CHECK-IN/OUT
We understand that early check-ins and late checkouts can make your stay more convenient, and we are happy to accommodate whenever possible! Availability depends on our cleaning and reservation schedule. If an early check-in or late checkout is available, we will notify you the evening before and offer it to you free of charge.

CAPACTITY
It is ideal for 4-6 people, depending on your sleeping needs. We are willing to accept 8 people if two people want to sleep on the porch or an indoor air mattress, but please note the home only has one full bathroom.

ACCESSIBILITY
The home has a sunken living room meaning there is a single step down when you enter the living room from either the front entrance, kitchen or hallway. Both bathrooms are on the first floor of the house and you do not need to use the staircase to access them, but there is a step down and up from the living room.

FAMILY OWNED & MANAGED
We are a family owned and managed property. This is our second home to keep our kids close to their desert roots and family in the area. We visit the home often and maintain and update it for our family and yours! We also contract with local family owned cleaning and maintenance teams. Your booking supports our small family business and the local family businesses we work with.
