Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this is the perfect home base for your trip to Salem. We can't wait to welcome you!
We were in town for the Ironman 70.3 and this home was less than a mile from the venue. Very spacious home. The only part we did not like was its proximity to main road. It was loud at night and was awakened by the traffic. Otherwise was a great property for us and our purpose.
Awesome rental. This is our second time staying at the house, and it doesn't disappoint. It's qeell appointed, comfortable, and made our large group feel right at home. Property owner is quick to respond and check-in/check-out process is easy and fast. House also has everything you need to cook!
Our family booked this home for a large Thanksgiving gathering nearby. While the home is spacious, clean, and the owners responsive, we ran into an issue with a person passed out on back step one evening, the parking permit was not available (had to ask about it), problem with the garage door (even with the light on). Bring your own soap if Meyers lavender scent is off-putting. The driveway is not lit so it was difficult to arrive at night and not know how to park and which door has the door code mechanism. Not trying to be critical, just want guests to know what to ask about and expect. This is a beautiful home and worked great for our visit.
This house was perfect and even better than we had expected from the listing! My son and several of his teammates came for a football camp at Willamette University, which was only 900 feet from the house. They were able to easily walk to and from the field. The neighborhood has consistent traffic being so close to the hospital and downtown but it felt very safe. The house was well stocked from kitchen supplies to shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the bathrooms. Plus the A/C was a welcome respite to the July heat. Itâs a lovely home and very well kept.
Quinn was an excellent host and communicator. She even reached out to let us check in early since there was no one staying the previous night. We would definitely stay here again!
Great communication from prop managers! Home is beautiful and centrally located so it was close to everything. It truly was home away from home. Equipped with everything we needed. Although we did buy our own soap etc. it was not necessary. It was a come as you are and enjoy kinda week!
This house was a perfect mid point to all of our activities... Wine tasting in Newberg, Graduation in Eugene, dinner in Portland and Hiking in Silverfalls state park. The house itself was perfect for our 6 adults. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room was sizeable and comfortable. The dining room table was large. We strolled through Bush park twice during our stay .. so great that it is right across the street. We were able to walk to dinner one night and walk to get ice cream another night. The house is on a somewhat busy street so there is car noise..but that didn't bother us ...The neighborhood is lovely.
Our family of 3 adult Nephew and Nieces and my son and daughter in law with their 2 children. Had the most wonderful stay
The house was clean and the host Quinn was very accommodating with all requests. We look forward to finding an excuse to come back.
Weekend trip to visit children at Willamette University
Great location for visiting kids that go to WU. Plenty of room. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The traffic was a little loud but didn't really interfere with anything. Again, perfect location for a visit to WU.
We LOVED our stay in this beautiful home in Salem!! The home was immaculate and early check-in was appreciated! Owners provided a blow-up mattress to help with sleep accommodations. Parking our 2 vehicles was very easy. We also loved the area surrounding this home. Thank you!!! Would definitely stay again!
We were in town to visit family and this house made it easy for us to have a place of our own to relax in. Great spot near Bush park, east walk to Starbucks and downtown shops/restaurants. Clean and spacious!
Was a great house for our family gathering. The living room and dining room are great for a house full of people: The park across the street was such a great treat to walk in! Quinn was very responsive when we had questions.
Born and raised in Salem, Oregon - in fact, I have lived in every one of Salem's zip codes! I graduated from South Salem HS and Willamette University. I worked in the nonprofit realm for four years, now volunteer with a few local organizations, and work full-time in real estate. Our family loves to travel and my wife is amazing at hosting people and parties.
The location of this home is one of our favorite spots in Salem. Bush Park is amazing, and across the other way is a newer, huge playground that ours kids love. Just down the street from the house is Starbucks and downtown Salem, full of local restaurants, boutique stores and walkable areas.
On top of amazing location... this home is just beautiful. It has been fully updated, but still keeps its historic charm. The kitchen and dining room face Bush Park, and the windows flood the area with natural light. Each bedroom is unique and charming.
The home is large, over 2500 sq ft. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for full meal prep, a large living room to relax and lounge, and a formal dining area to connect and converse. With four bedrooms plus an office, there is plenty of room for just about any traveler or group.
