Calm and comfortable

Perfect overnight stay but would have loved to stay longer. The rental was bright, cheery, well stocked and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and planned for all our possible needs. They went above and beyond to make our anniversary extra special. Would recommend to anyone and we would definitely choose to stay here again when we are in the area.

Great find

The property was excellent. Quiet, comfortable and roomy. The bed was really comfortable and we have already booked to come back in July. The personal touches were wonderful. We loved the place, perfect been for 1 or 2 people.

Cozy Comfort

We were very happy with our choice to stay here, The rental is clean, cozy, and quiet. Lots of thought has been put into the little details to make ones stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host is super friendly and quick to respond to messages. We would stay here again and our give recommendation to others.

Peaceful Respite

Cozy comforts is exactly what you’ll find at this property! Kristin went above and beyond to provide everything and more that we needed for our stay. She did a fantastic job communicating with us and is a naturally gifted hostess. The property was immaculate, and the location was beautiful. Looking forward to our next stay! Refreshing

After a long drive from Maine, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door and found a refreshing, open apartment. The living/kitchen/dining area is very comfortable and has a lot of natural light. The bedroom is equally comfortable, with less light, allowing for a good night's sleep. The entire apartment has an inviting, relaxing feel with all the comforts of home. The location is quintessential small-town CT. I'll will definitely be back!

Owner provided every "convenience imaginable!! The space was decoraterd like a room from a magazine. She had snacks, coffee, plenty of water bottles. We really enjoyed our stay & visiting with the owner. She alone is 5 star!!!!

Amazing place to stay!

This was the perfect place for us to stay. We were in town for a wedding and our accommodations were far superior to our family who stayed in hotel rooms. Kristen and August were wonderful hosts and even left us a bottle of champagne as we were also celebrating our own wedding anniversary. The place was immaculate and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

This location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet relaxing getaway. We are located in the country with cows across the street from us yet only 10 minutes from downtown Middletown and Wesleyan University. We are about 20 minutes from our state's capitol, Hartford; or travel South about 20-25 minutes and hit one of Connecticut's many beautiful beaches along our coastline. It's the perfect spot if you want to stay in all weekend, kick back on the couch and stream your favorite shows or movies OR you can go explore the many fine dining options nearby or local breweries/wineries. We are about 40 minutes from Mohegan Sun and about 45 minutes from Foxwoods Casino where you can always find a great concert or something fun to do!

We fell in love with our home the minute we walked into it and we hope you will too. We have been slowly renovating it and turning it into our forever home and we truly hope you feel like this is a place where you can drop your worries at the door when you arrive and simply enjoy yourselves and all our beautiful town/state have to offer; whether you're here for a night, a week or a month!
