Lakefront Cottage on Serene Lake Becky

From the moment you walk in the front door of our completely restored 1967 lakefront cottage, you can see the lake all the way across the entire room, as if you were floating on it! In the middle of your lake view is the boathouse covered deck with a walkway across the sloping green lawn down to the water!!

Enjoy hanging out with family or friends on this covered deck right on the water, with plenty of seating, tables, rugs, a grill, and a small streaming flat screen TV! Below the deck is the dock where you can fish, swim, or sun yourself...afterwards you might want to try out the 3-person canoe, followed by a night time firepit on the lawn with chairs right next to the water, with s'mores...all while you enjoy the gorgeous white lights all over the boathouse deck and walkway!!

This adorable cottage has a well appointed kitchen, livingroom, diningroom, and mudroom, plus an extra sitting area...ALL of this lakeview! Enjoy the streaming flat screen TV or watch DVDs, or enjoy books from the mudroom while you lounge in the extra sitting area. Enjoy prepping/cooking a meal in the well stocked kitchen, then have a lovely dinner in the diningroom next to the water!!

Off this main area, you'll find the King bedroom overlooking the lake, the Queen bedroom overlooking the hillside and front driveway, a large bathroom with 2 sinks, a toilet, and a shower/tub combo, as well as a stackable washer/dryer. Off the living space is also a small bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower stall. ALL sheets/towels provided!

A staircase off the small bathroom leads up to the 2 Twin loft bedroom to the right, which overlooks the living space and has lake views from the window...or you can go straight up the stairs into the gameroom that has a large picture window with a bar that overlooks the lake! In the gameroom you can enjoy the chess table, the small Foosball table, magnetic darts, cards and board games, Wii video games, or watch the flat screen streaming TV!! The gameroom also has a door out to the front driveway, with a deck worthy of the view of the front yard, and the farm across the street.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1) This home can comfortably accommodate a MAX of 6 guests with its septic system, and private well. Familiarity with the septic's proper usage and maintenance is expected of renters, and it's beneficial to understand how a well works before vacationing in our home.

2) This home utilizes 4 mini-splits for its heat, AC, and humidity regulation...one in the Diningroom, one in the King Room, one in the Queen Room, and one in the upstairs gameroom. In order to obtain a comfortable balance of heat or AC throughout the house, you need to use these 4 units in conjunction.

If the home ever feels too humid, simply switch the mini-splits over to the "dry" setting for a while, then return the units to heat or AC, depending on the time of year. Upon your arrival, take a moment to understand how the mini-split systems work by reviewing the remotes all the walls.

3) Per the Lake Association, ONLY the water craft we provide are ALLOWED on this private lake. We have a 3-person canoe and a Kayak available for our renters to enjoy on the lake. However, you are allowed to bring Floaties and water chairs.
