The Jocassee Tiny House is nestled on 13 acres of land near beautiful Lake Jocassee. On the property, you will find a little creek and an orchard of very young fruit trees (apples, pears, and peaches). Additionally, you might find blueberries, blackberries, and muscadines. Enjoy your coffee on the porch with the first sunbeams of the day. Thereâs a fire pit for bbq and sâmores. On a clear night, you can't beat the view of the stars in the night sky. You may even catch a glimpse of wildlife. There is a wildlife camera on the property when entering the driveway and a security camera on the front porch overlooking the patio and/or front porch. If you feel uncomfortable with the security camera you're welcome to unplug it, but you need to plug it back in before leaving the property.
This tiny home has everything we needed and then some! So many little touches and extras. We were extremely comfortable and relaxed here. We would definitely come back.
Clean, well apportioned home that fit 3 adults and 3 kids easily. The kids looooved the loft and had fun playing up there. We parents loved the separate bedroom for us. We did our dinners outside by the fire pit.
Awesome place - very secluded, plenty of privacy. Beautiful location. Even though itâs a âtiny houseâ, it is a very nice place and plenty of room. Very close to the lake.
We had the best time this weekend! It was so relaxing. We even had a little visit from a bear! It was the perfect little getaway with family & friends to recharge!
Perfect place to stay while visiting the lake for a week. We had a great time and really enjoyed being so close to the state park landing. My 5 year old son did not want to leave.
Thanks for having us.
Stay was great! Tiny house had everything you need for your stay and the layout made it feel like you had a ton of space. Property was great to explore and couldnât have asked for more on a quick getaway!
This Tiny house was PERFECT! Adorable setup, clean, and very convenient to the Devils Fork State Park and Lake Jocassee! Tobias was great to work with. We can't wait to book again next summer!!!
We enjoyed our stay at the tiny home for a fall weekend getaway with our kids (2 and 4). The property and home have a great setup. Very clean and well stocked with the essentials. Location is close to the main swimming/boating area on Lake Jocassee in Devilâs Fork State Park. We would love to return in the summer months!
This house was perfect! It is very unique and so cool! The kids LOVED it! Although it's a tiny house there was plenty of room! Communication with property owner was excellent!
We had 6 women 40+ in our group. The house is a very cute tiny home that accommodated our needs & never felt crowded. Nice bathroom for a small house as well. Love the outdoor sitting area & fire pit. Very convenient to beatiful Lake Jocassee and a nice private lot.
Plenty of parking, provided plenty of necessity, & easy cleaning on exit.
Plenty of space in this tiny house. It was only me, my 11 year-old son, and 14 year-old daughter, but Iâd be confident saying 3 more could stay comfortably.
Conveniently located short distance from the lake.
Iâd stay again!
This tiny house is so well done, Great location, so convenient. My son left his wallet in the loft, Tobi contacted me immediately mailed it to me free of charge. TY!!!!
Hello, my name is Tobias Martin. I'm married to my beautiful wife Jen and together we have two awesome daughters (Emma and Claire). We enjoy the outdoors, whether it's hiking, biking, boating, or any kind of outdoor activity. We like to travel and meet new people and learn about their cultures. Everyone is welcome at our Tiny House and we hope you enjoy, respect, and love it as we do. We wish you a great stay and we strive for a five-star experience. Let us know how we do, so we can keep up the good work.
Growing up in Germany I always had the dream to own some land in the USA and after meeting my beautiful wife Jen on Lake Jocassee the goal was set. After a long 2-year journey of negotiations, the previous owner of our 13 acres property finally sold it to us in Jan. of 2020. It was all overgrown and barely accessible. It took a lot of hard work over the last 2 years to get it where it is today. We planted 50 fruit trees (apple, peach, and pear), cleared 5-6 acres, drilled a well, and poured about 60 yards of concrete for the foundation, the patio, and the driveway to make it accessible for all vehicles. It's still a work in progress but we enjoy being out there and just leave the hectics of the city behind us. Follow the little path to the lake, explore the creek along the property or just relax in the hammocks underneath pine trees next to the patio. Listen to the whippoorwill bird in the evening or lay on your back and just watch the night sky with its million stars. If you get lucky and get up early you may see some deer walking through the orchard or some black bears looking for some snacks. Explore the area and take your time to just rest.
We are located 3/4mile behind Devils Fork State Park which lets you use the boat ramps through the back entrance of the park, which means almost guaranteed access to the lake at all times, granted the parking lot has one last spot for you to park and you have the State Park Pass.
