Perfect for a family weekend away

Stayed here for a long weekend with our whole family. 12 adults, 6 small kids. There was ample rooms for everyone and a plenty of activities to keep the kids and adults busy. We enjoyed our time

The house was beautiful, kids had a blast in the pool and in the boats on pond. The house has plenty of space and is close to shopping stores and hiking trails.

Amazing!

The property had everything one would need for a family vacation! The house was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of room for everyone. The pond was awesome, especially with the provided kayak, paddle board, etc. The pool was fun! It was really close to the state park. The owners were available for any questions we had. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Great memories

Great place to make memories! Host was absolutely on top of everything. Answered questions within a 5 to 10 minute time frame. Clean, close to Hocking hills. Most of the time, we enjoyed the game room, pool, and pond. Accommodations were top notch. Can't say enough of the nice host ;)

Family owned home

What a wonderful property! Close to Hocking Hills attractions, but also lots to do at the property! Plenty of room for kickball/whiffle ball, swimming, fishing, and canoeing. Good communication with owner. Only downside was the peddle boat was not in very good shape and missing a pedal on one side.

Perfect house for families

This beautiful house has everything you could possibly need inside and out. The decor was lovely and the house was very clean. Many personal touches for sure. The family loved the pond and spent a good deal of time fishing. Having the kayak, canoe and paddle board was so nice. There was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Loved it!

Family fun

From the inside to the outside…this property is so beautiful and spacious, and offers something for everyone! Beginning each day gathering in the large kitchen and the dining room table, to ending with games and movies, our crew was busy! The outdoor space was awesome! Our days were filled with swimming in the perfect pool, to fishing, and catching huge fish, making crafts on the picnic table, and of course, our evening game of wifle ball! I would highly recommend this beautiful home!

We are glad you had a nice stay and enjoyed the home despite the issues that occurred. You never know when things will happen when owning a home. We make sure our guests are accommodated and taken care of if anything arises. This summer and fall we’ve purchased a new pump and a new tankless water heater (which is unrelated to your stay). My husband and I will finally be able to spend some time at our home this weekend to make sure she is back in order and updated after the summer guests. We like things to be perfect for our guests so we apologize for any inconvenience. Again, we are glad you were still able to spend time with your family/friends and make beautiful memories while you were there. Have a wonderful fall season as you head into the holidays.

Fun with the family

Our stay at the house near Hocking Hills was a great time! The games and toys added to the fun. The pool was a little chilly to swim in but the kids did swim some during our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us in the house. There could be some more towels and washcloths for showers and dishes. The ceiling fans were also on one remote it seemed, which was hilarious once we figured it out. There looks to be some more work to be done, such as adding more TVs, but that didn’t bother us at all. Overall we had a great time and would consider renting this house again if we go back to that area.

Renee, Thank you for your review. After almost 2 years of restoration from a fire caused by lightning, we were finally able to clean the home and unbox our personals the week before your stay...So many delays. You were are first Vrbo guests back in our home. We are so happy to share "Sally" again. The restoration company told us all 5 tv's still worked. Unfortunately, we realized only 2 worked the week before you arrived. We ordered 3 more right away. We are sorry they weren't able to be delivered in time and set up for you. More towels, makeup cloths, and pool towels were ordered and are currently being used at the home to accommodate our guests. Thank you for your suggestions. If you look at the photos now...you'll see we also ordered a few furniture pieces to replace furniture that was not returned after the restoration. It was a long journey but we feel "Sally" is just about back to her old self. It is definitely a great place to relax and spend time with the special people in your lives. We are so glad you enjoyed making memories in our home. Thanks again for choosing "Sally."
