We were in town for a wedding and this was conveniently located to everything we needed. Located short distance from property owner, but private. Property owner communicated well, fridge was even stocked with a few waters and condiments. Bed was comfy. The cottage was very clean and inviting, the only thing we didnât like was the overpowering smell of plug in air fresheners in the small space, it did trigger a migraine headache for me. Overall, a positive experience and we would stay again if in the area.
I went to Knoxville for an event at Neyland. Itâs a 15 minute drive from the parking for the stadium thatâs quick and easy. Perfect location. DoorDash delivers there. The kitchen was stocked with incidentals in case you cook. Peaceful backyard to look at from the kitchen , living room and the back deck
My husband and I were only at the house to sleep but it was very clean and comfortable. The shower was beautiful! We appreciated all the little touches that Bill made to the placeâŠ. Like the lights on the steps and he turned the lights on for us since we didnât arrive till midnight. Way better and cheaper than staying in a hotel! Thank you!
I was visiting the Knoxville area to visit my son. I arrived late in the night for my check-in and Bill was very accommodating and communicative. The property was immaculately clean and inviting. The location was perfect for what we were doing for the weekend. It was a very comfortable stay and I look forward to my next visit.
My husband and I stayed here for the summer for an internship and we loved it! It was a cozy place to call home for a few months. Bill was always available for anything we needed help with.
The house was wonderful. We had all we needed. The interior of the house was decorated cute. Bed was comfortable. The correct driveway was a bit challenging to find belonging to the house. The house is set back behind two other houses. We passed the driveway several times before deciding which lead to the house.
I would stay at this VRBO again.
This cottage was exactly what I was looking for. It was very clean and had everything I needed to get away for a long weekend. Bill was very responsive when I had any questions.
Definitely great for a couples weekend getaway.
Nice little house. Recently remodeled to a high standard using quality materials. Spent three weeks there while going to the local truck driving school, which is less than a mile away. Plenty private and quiet, and well stocked for an extended stay.
It was very clean and so cozy and the property is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for a solo stay or couple. The WiFi was spotty so just keep that in mind if you are needing a reliable connection for business purposes. The owner offered use of the office if necessary though! It was a great booking!
Beautiful studio with everything you need. Loved having the deck and patio to sit and take in the beautiful grounds. Thousands of fireflies at night. Comfortable, clean, soothing. Bill is warm and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when doing a mtb trip to Knoxville/Windrock!!
My stay with Bill in Powell, TN was great! I had to travel to the Universe of Tennessee in Knoxville to collect data for my thesis, and wanted somewhere affordable but also quiet and convenient to work at night. This place was perfect. Bill was a gracious host, he gave me a quick tour of the cottage when I arrived and told me to let him know if I needed anything. The cottage itself looks fairly new and very clean. The kitchenette and bathroom were stocked with everything I needed to feel at home (I like to cook for myself, even on trips, so thatâs a big plus for me). The bed was comfy, and I spent a couple nights on the back porch with a small fire in the fire pit while I worked at the table. The TV is a smart TV so you can connect to any of your streaming services from home, and Bill had Sling set up which was nice. I LOVED the coffee table that pulls out into a desks. I told my boyfriend I need one at home just like it. There are apparently a couple of tenants that also live on the property, but I barely saw or heard anyone, it was very quiet and private. Overall, I loved the cottage and kinda wished I had booked an extra night to have one more day to relax and work on my paper before I got back in the road. I would definitely return if Iâm ever in the area again.
