The property was large enough to accommodate our party. The elevator was excellent for carrying up luggage and supplies. My favorite part if this property was the deck leading to the water. Beautiful sunsets.

Absolutely Amazing Vacation!

This is the second year we rented one of the Seas the Breeze properties. My family and friends rented both houses this year and we had an amazing time. The house is so spacious, and the views are awesome from all the rooms. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on the deck every evening. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Even did some night fishing from the pier. The blanket of stars above was so relaxing. The location is perfect. It's close to stores, restaurants, and the beach. There's so much to do! This vacation will be remembered by all for a lifetime!

Soundside “beach” was a sludgy mess, though the dock itself was very nice. For a fairly new home, there was a lot of mold found in many of the rooms- including under the sink rims and inside toilets. If we’d visited during peak season and paid 19k I would be extremely disappointed.

The shoreline along the Pamlico Sound is a natural environment and can change quite a bit depending on the tides, wind, weather, and time of year. At times, the shoreline can become muddy or sludgy, which is unfortunately part of the natural Soundside environment and something we aren’t able to control. We were also sorry to hear about the cleanliness concerns you encountered. We take those comments seriously, especially with a newer home that we work hard to keep in excellent condition. We had a wonderful and memorable vacation.

We have a very large family and the house we rented was perfect. It had everything we needed. Our group included adult children and grandchildren ranging from 14 years to 33. The property was close to the beach and grocery stores which we visited several times a day. We also enjoyed a lot of time at the pool. The driveway and covered parking was perfect for all our cars and we were able to play pickle ball in a makeshift court in the driveway. Everyone had a fantastic time. This was our second year at this house. Everyone agreed we probably couldn't find a better place to accommodate us.

Beautiful spacious Home in Avon NC

My family of 24 stayed at the Seas the Breeze 1 for our summer vacation. It was large enough to accommodate 12 adults and 12 children. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool and outdoor space were great. Our kids were in the pool every day. The sound side was beautiful and the dock and pergola were nice to just sit and enjoy the view. This was our first trip to the outer banks and we didn’t know much about the area. Avon is a little more isolated and low key compared to Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills but still has plenty of shops and beautiful beach areas. It was easy enough to travel to other towns. Any issues with the house were addressed right away. If we had questions or concerns we heard back almost immediately. Would definitely recommend for large families.

Nicely decorated, lots of games, maintenance came when we called about issues, kitchen was well stocked, gorgeous dock on the sound where the kids loved to hang out. Great location close to grocery store and shops, not far from beach. Drawback: pool was a bit small and not big enough for activities.

Beautiful home, wonderful location, perfect for large groups, or families that need lots of space.

We had a wonderful stay at this sound front home in Avon, NC. The house was spacious and spotless with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the large, fully equipped kitchen made cooking together a breeze. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, using the dock, and soaking in the gorgeous views of the sound—especially watching the kite surfers at sunset. Having an elevator is a game changer!! Russ was wonderful to work with—responsive, friendly, and made everything easy. Perfect for families or groups, and we’d absolutely stay here again.

A beautiful, quiet location with a very communicative host!

Our stay was easy and relaxing with a beautiful view. This place has it all. A well constructed dock at the perfect location to view the gorgeous sunsets. Wonderful entertainment with a wide variety of activities inside and outside of the house. Just close enough to all the right places too. The host was incredibly kind and responsive as well. This place was worth far more that what we paid, and we sre incredibly grateful that we got to stay.

Great Week in June

We had 6 adults and 6 kids for a week in June and it was great. Place was huge and had everything we needed to cook for and do laundry for the whole crew. The location is awesome you can watch the sun rise over the ocean and then set on the sound. We brought a boat and tubed and paddle boarded in the sound. Everything was clean and working and if we needed anything Russ and the team were super responsive. We will be coming back next year.

Family reunion

The 10 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms were perfect for our group, as was the kitchen/living space. We enjoyed the pool area. We were very disappointed with the beach. We had hoped the toddlers could play in the sand. Even with several people raking, we were unable to clear the seaweed, etc.

Very clean place with wonderful views and great owners

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was super clean and the owners checked in all the time to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home to everyone. Everyone in our party made sure they got back from wherever they were for the majestic sunsets. The location to grocery stores and restaurants was wonderful, less than 1 mile away. Russ is a wonderful owner. We will surely be back!

Great location

We were 20, and we really enjoyed the cottage. Great view on the sound. Close to the beach (10 min walk), very close to the grocery store. Pool is great. Only little issue is with Internet speed was too slow (less than 10mb/s) to be able to use Netflix in the theatre and there is no dvd player. Overall, this is a great location to enjoy OBX with family and friends.

Lovely home!

Home was exactly as pictured. Very nice furnishings....especially the outdoor furniture! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and utensils. Not something I can say about everywhere we have been! Pool was great and bluetooth speakers out there an added bonus. Russ was very quick to respond to any text inquiry and very helpful. I would highly recommend this home and rental company.

An Epic Family Getaway

Seas the Breeze I certainly lived up to our expectations. We needed a home to accommodate our 5 children and 9 grandchildren to gather for a weekend of fun and family bonding. The home provided all we needed. We spent many hours in the pool, fished from the private dock, relaxed in the hot tub cooked together and ate together. It was clean and ready for us with so many amenities available. We had two minor incidents which were corrected within hours. The location was perfect if you want true family time with no distractions. As our oldest son stated this was an epic time for all of us to be together under one roof.

Absolutely Perfect House

This house was fabulous. The word I used to describe it to everyone before they got there was "surreal" and they all agreed that is the perfect description. The house itself was wonderful. The location was wonderful. It was furnished about as perfectly as anyone could dream of. There were 15 of our family who stayed there and everyone had a great time. We have been going to the Outer Banks for 40 years. We stayed at a lot of houses and a couple of condos. We never experienced a place as fantastic as this. I don't know if you would ever be willing to have us back, but it would be an honor if we could.

Awesome

What a great house, very well constructed, awesome views from the decks and rooms of sunrise and sunsets. We where all kite boarders staying in the house. Enjoyed the private beach for launching and landing our kites. Group feeds in the house was excellent. The seating area at the end of the walkway to water was an excellent place to sit and enjoy other kite boarders out there having fun. Or sitting on the deck watching everyone having fun on the water. Great place to also watch the sunset or just to sit there relax and talking to friends . Hot tub was an excellent place to relax after kitting all day!!

Bringing the Brasilians, Canadians, Italians, & Canadians back together in the OBX!

If you’re coming to OBX, STAY HERE at Seas the Breeze I!! The house, the pool, the sound, the Atlantic, and the location is excellent! We had a party of 18 and the house was perfect as everyone had their own space. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make the most fabulous meals - just bring the food. The gas grill needs some work but we used the charcoal grill instead. (Worked better with the amount of food we had!). Russ is a great host who answers questions quickly and checks in regularly to ensure everything is as is expected. We will be renting from him again when we return to Avon / OBX. You will not be disappointed with Seas the Breeze I - we loved it!!

Property was clean however there a a lot of repairs needed. I contacted the proptery manager to notify them that the gas stove top was not functioning correctly. The flames are too high on several burners and two of them do not fjnction due to missing pieces. The pots are black on the bottom because of this. Their lights out back that don't work and I showed the repair man this when he came to look at the stove. He stated he might not be back today but will be back to fix and no one came back. Several general maintenance issues beyond that from loose door handles to compressor on outside of home making squeeling sounds. There were signs of leaks on wall in downstairs bedroom and a crack in master bedroom door that allowed water in when there was a storm.

We take all guest feedback seriously and wanted to provide an update on the items you noted: Regarding the gas stove, our team found that the burner covers had simply shifted slightly out of alignment. Once they were re-positioned, the burners returned to normal, safe operation. We have also verified that the outdoor lights are fully functional; the switch can be a bit difficult to locate. As for the mechanical sounds, the noise from the AC compressor is actually a normal part of the operation for these units. Additionally, we have tightened the loose door handle you mentioned. Finally, our maintenance team conducted an inspection of the door and was unable to find any evidence of active leaks. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention so we could address them promptly. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future. Best regards, Russ
