Gresham house is located 25-30 minutes away from Portland Downtown and 15-20 minutes from the Portland International Airport. Our house has a beautiful view, large yard and deck space. Make yourself comfortable in our spacious and cozy home.

Great location for Nike Cross Nationals.

This was a great place to stay. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed. The entire process was smooth with great communication.

Was a clean roomy house. Lots of plates and utensils. There is no jetted tub as advertised. It is just a large soaking tub. The shower drain in the small bathroom is very slow to drain. The TV in the master bedroom is not hooked up and has no remote. Very slow to respond on the VRBO app. Overall the house suited our needs for the weekend. Thank you for sharing your home.

Nice but had issues

The listing earlier showed 2 king bedrooms when we booked it, it got changed without notification which was unfortunate. Not enough of many supplies, no extra trash bags or dish towels, dishwasher detergent, very slow WiFi. Spacious and good location.

Beautiful house and stay for my family of 10!!!!! Plenty of room in this very nice house for a large family. 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath with a large den sleeper sofa. Tip…Bring an airbed in place of the sofa bed, which we had with us. Close to many of the area attractions and centrally located to shopping and restaurants. Owners were very helpful and courteous to all our needs and it was a wonderful stay in Gresham. Parking is limited but I was given the heads up from previous reviews and we managed it best we could with 3 vehicles. If you have 2 large vehicles or 3 midsized, you'll be fine and very happy. Other than that tip, the place is recommended and we would stay again in the future. Thank you from a very happy family stay :)

Booked the place from August 10th , checked out August 14th. Place is beautiful except for a couple of minor issues. Plenty of rooms for my 8 guests who are all in their 70’s. Quite neighborhood. Place is secured.

Plenty of Room

Everything was great. We would like to have used the deck. It didn't look safe and there were no chairs. The house was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a TV in the basement, and in the master. It has a great location. There was plenty of room for our entire family.

House was the size we were in need of! It was close to where we wanted to be from our family that lives in Oregon. A few appliances need to be replaced either they didn’t work or part of one worked but not the broil part! Could have been a little cleaner. Contacted the owner via email with my concerns and hopefully he will look into them. Some of the restrictions were stated. Would I stay again! Yes, to see if my concerns were taken to heart. I believe in 2nd chances

I think this place is absolutely gorgeous the view is amazing and I was so thankful for the fast communication to help with my family staying for my wedding. I want to give this place a 5 star but the way the neighbors act really makes it hard. I would stay again but the only 3 cars was hard with everyone from out of town. The guy on the left of the house yelled at my daughter I was not happy about that. I know the owners can't control the neighbors it just caused a little more stress I wasn't expecting.

BIG House

This is a really big house, lots of space to spread out. You can fit three cars in the driveway, but you have to be a little careful about it. Having a code to enter the front door rather than a key turned out to be excellent for us, so some could come and go without worrying about passing keys around. We didn't use the washer and dryer or spend any time on the decks or yard (it was November), but everything that we needed worked.

Family Christmas

Nice house for a large gathering. Be aware it is 3 levels with 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs. Huge master bedroom! Only issue we had was that there were things that weren’t very clean. Notified owners to make them aware their cleaning staff was not doing a very good job. They were appreciative that we let them know. Beds were okay. For people going with children be aware that there are a LOT of breakable statues and ornamental items, stairs are not carpeted. Kitchen with big island worked great for us. Would probably stay there again.

Clean, cozy, and convenient location

The house is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. This means that there may be limited parking, however, the driveway will fit 2 large vehicles easily. The house is very clean as there is no shoes allowed inside past the entryway. The home is very nice and spacious. There was plenty of room for everyone in my group to enjoy sitting and relaxing. The kitchen has the basics including 2 different coffee makers and every bathroom had some soap, shampoo and body wash in the shower or bath area. The beds were nice and each came with 4 pillows. Overall, it was a very nice place! It was close to the freeway and shopping areas, and the welcome binder in the kitchen included things around the area to do and sights to see etc which is helpful for those not familiar with the area. I would definitely stay here again!

Long, detailed review for those who want it

We enjoyed our stay here. The owner was consistently quick to respond. The details on the description were vague, so I asked some questions and received prompt and helpful responses. When we arrived, I had not yet received entry information, so I called the listed phone number and they sent a message with all the info immediately. There is a 3 car limit with driveway parking only, which would have been nice to know before traveling with a large group. We planned on 4 cars, but one ended up not coming, so it turned out fine. The property was definitely big enough for 12 of us to enjoy together without feeling cramped. There’s a large gathering space on the main floor and also one downstairs. There are 4 bathrooms (3 with showers), 5 bedrooms (1 king, 4 queens) and a pull out couch bed that we dared not pull out. The house was mostly clean, but the pull out looked a little sketchy. It may have been fine, but we didn’t test it. Some reported a creaky bed, but otherwise all slept well. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed (toaster, microwave, blender, etc). We didn’t use the multiple balconies or back yard as we returned after 10 pm and they were off limits for “quiet hours.” There were a few undesirable things like the bits of broccoli on the counter when we arrived, the poorly fitted towel bar that fell down at the slightest touch in one of the 4 bathrooms, and the lack of information prior to arrival, but no deal breakers. It’s not a 5 star resort, but generally clean and comfortable. Checkout was standard procedure. Overall, a nice place to hang out. It’s a lovely home. The one real negative happened after returning home. We were accused of damaging the property. After I responded that we left it clean and I had 11 witnesses against that claim, they told me they were mistaken and it was whoever stayed after us, the night we checked out. It felt like a ploy to get money, but I could be wrong. I don’t know. They apologized and there was no more issue. I guess just take pics before and after to cover your bases. I included this part at the urging of the customer service rep I spoke with before it was resolved.

Excellent Location

Room for all to relax, very clean. Host was very responsive and easy to reach. Enough bedrooms that all could relax and feel comfortable. Information book was very helpful. This was a great location for the wedding venue in Troutdale. Great all around property for a large group!!

So much potential, but fell short

Very outdated. Beds were noisy and old. Kitchen was very difficult to cook in. The dishes are old and not adequate to cook with. There were no measuring cups. There are no matching dish sets. Just random dishes in random places. It looks and feels like the owners went on vacation and decided to rent out there home with no thought put into it. The house is big and has so much potential. The internet was broken when we got there and we were without that for a day or two. The property manager did work to fix problems we had with the property quickly. Our family did have a good time.

Lots of potential - not very clean

My group and I were really looking forward to our stay, especially since the house is in a quiet, lovely neighborhood and conveniently close to shops — definitely one of the highlights of the location. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by a few issues that made our stay less enjoyable.First, we had to reach out to the host to receive our check-in information, even after our check-in time had already passed. This added unnecessary stress and didn’t set a great tone for our arrival.Once inside, we were disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the home. The walls were noticeably scuffed and stained, the furniture felt worn and neglected, and the entire space had a dusty, unkempt feel. We also found loose hairs in the sheets and dirty hand towels hanging in the bathrooms, which was especially unsettling.While the location of this home was peaceful, convenient, and full of potential, the lack of basic cleanliness and attention to detail made it hard to fully enjoy the stay. With a deep clean and a little more care, this property could be a great option — but as it stands, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
