Enjoy the charm of this completely updated vintage home. Fully equipped kitchen includes all new appliances (December 2022).

Handy location on bus line, light rail access to St. Paul & Minneapolis downtowns, Target Center, Mall of America, Vikings and Twins stadiums, University of Minnesota, Target Center. The property was well located and as advertised. The back yard was lovely for pre dinner chats. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary cooking and serving items. There were books, games, plenty of soaps, towels, etc. Katie was super helpful and responsive. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nice place in an easy to access part of town. Had some hiccups upon check-in, but the owner was fantastic in addressing them quickly and to our satisfaction. Property has two bathrooms, which could be a challenge with the rooms full but they have plenty of hot water and do well to place mirror locations in and out of the bedrooms for people to do their AM prep without tying up the bathrooms.

Overall our family had a nice stay in this historical home with unique wood builtins. The kitchen looks to be brand new and was super functional. The house is conveniently located to many St Paul sites. This is an older, a bit rough around the edges, three level home with all four bedrooms located upstairs. All four bedrooms share one bathroom upstairs which can be challenging for potentially 8 guests. The second bathroom is located in the basement. There is no bathroom on the main level where the kitchen, dining room and living room are located. I want to point this out for older folks that have a hard time navigating steep stairs and who need to be super careful dealing with their luggage on the darker steep narrow stairwells. The bed mattresses and pillows are a bit hard. The home is cooled by window ac units. The windows are original and those that work are hard to operate. We enjoyed sitting in the living room as a family and sharing meals at the big dining room table. There is a nice selection of books for all and toys for the children. As a past vacation rental home owner I appreciate how hard the hosts have worked to make everything nice in their older home, but it is helpful to point out possible issues so guests can decide what is best for their needs.

Actually, we were only there for sleeping hours, as our mission was to spend time with a newborn grandson, and assist in his care. (night owl baby). So although we did not utilize the kitchen or living area very much, we found the house to be charming and comfortable.

It was like staying a Grandpa's house with an up to date well equipped kitchen. We appreciated the short walk to the Ginko Cafe on shady streets pasts neighbors' front yard flower gardens.

Great Location

We had a great stay. In town for a sporting event and it was a quick and easy ride to downtown. Clean rooms, updated kitchen, and plenty of great areas to enjoy with the nice fall weather. It was perfect for our group.

Cute little place. It’s an older place like most of St Paul. Has some minor hardware issues with doors and windows but overall well kept up.

I have lived in the Twin Cities area all my life, and have traveled extensively with my husband, Curt, and our three (now grown) children. I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Minnesota (B.A. in Spanish and M.A. in Educational Psychology), and worked at a private 4-year university in the Twin Cities from March 2000 through February 2020, when I took a new position at one of the metro area’s finest community colleges. Curt completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Minnesota, where we met as college gymnasts. He has worked in housing design and real estate for several decades. We love everything about housing and hosting! Curt and I started hosting on another popular platform in December 2014, and we are thoroughly enjoying the experience and are excited to join the VRBO community! We have met literally thousands of fascinating people over the years. It has been so satisfying to open our home and share this additional fabulous location with others.

This home is beautiful, all brand new, and centrally located for any number of excursions. It's near several of the Twin Cities excellent private colleges (Augsburg, Bethel, Concordia, Hamline, Macalester, Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Saint Catherine University, University of Northwestern, University of Saint Thomas), as well as the University of Minnesota--both the Saint Paul and Minneapolis campuses. We are 1.2 miles from the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, host of "The Great Minnesota Get-Together," a can't-miss event held each summer. We are within easy access to many sports venues--less than a mile from Allianz Field, home of Minnesota United Soccer Team. And just 4 blocks to the light rail line that will take you to US Bank Stadium for a Vikings game, Target Field for the Minnesota Twins, Xcel Center to see Minnesota Wild, and easy access to University of Minnesota Gophers sports. Easy access to Mall of America via the light rail, as well as smaller local shopping malls.
