Do not stay here, there was a camera installed on the property that was not mentioned in the listing. It was plugged in and who knows what the owner was watching.Owner left food in fridge/ freezer. opened alcohol through out the house as well. There was a dirty comb in the bathroom and the shower / tub was broken. Looks like someone was living here for a year and just up and left the day of check in.
This condo is in a decent downtown location and was very quiet at night. My biggest issue is with the management company. First, letâs start with how they listed the property. They post is for a low amount per night but then tack on cleaning fees, service fees, cleaning fees, administration fees and worst of all Owners Fees. With all of these fees the lightly charge is nearly doubled what they displayed on the website. One I realized that I was paying the owners an additional fee on top of the nightly rate, I called VRBO to cancel the reservation. The was done within 24 hours. I was told by VRBO to wait 48 hours to receive refund info by the owner. I never received any confirm so, I called them. They said that it was too late to cancel and that they never heard from VRBO. They would not refund my money, even though we are in the middle of COVID.
Now to the stay, the management company has many rules and will charge you extra if you donât follow all. Donât even think about staying past your 10am checkout time. It is marked on all paperwork. It takes you room key to get into the parking garage yet they find the need to write you a violation notice if you are not displaying your parking permit.
This nitpicking OCD on the rules you would think would translate to a very tidy property. Unfortunately, this did not translate. The toilet handle was broken, the oven was dirty with old burnt food in the oven., and the AC that could not be set to a temperature outside of their pre-determined temperature.
For all of these reasons this property has received a 1 Star. Their are plenty of available properties in the area. Stay way from this property and go with someone who values their customers.
The condo itself was fantastic. Very comfortable and relaxing...just what we were looking for.
Good Things: A Great Location, Clean Property, Nice Condo, Able to walk to many restaurants and attractions, The weather was amazing.
Not Good Things: We had 2 maintenance issues that we reported numerous times during our stay, both through voicemail (many times) and having to speak to a reservation agent (as nobody else in the office answered the phone) We never received communication back from the management company about coming in to fix the issues during our entire stay. On the patio, there was a constant loud humming from the building next door (air ventilation system?) that made it difficult to stay our on the patio for an extended time to enjoy the awesome weather and views. The telephone in the condo rang every morning at 8:14am. Not sure why...but when answered, nobody was on the other end of the phone call. We did not request any wake up call, or appreciate one on our vacation.
Easy check-in and great location allowed my wife and I to park the car and walk to everything we needed for another great weekend in Breck.
This unit was well appointed, plenty of space, comfy bed. Downtown view overlooking the Dredge, easy walk but far enough from main street for quiet evening enjoyment of the balcony. The only noise disturbing that peace was from some kind of HVAC next door(Der Stermark).
We would book this unit again.
Our stay was very nice, but noisy with the construction going on at the restaurant (The old Dredge) and especially with the exhaust fan for the adjacent Mexican Restaurant blasting 24 hours a day! Would have liked to sleep with the windows open.
Was a good place but they nickel and dimed us and their bathtub was falling apart and their plumbing could use some work. Kind of wished I had gone with an AirBNB home would have been cheaper because all their costs were upfront.
Superb location to main street, quicksilver lift and shuttle stop. Really dont need to rent a car with this extremely walkable location. Only complaint is the heat is fierce and dry in this unit in winter. Takes 1 hour to cool the condo off 1 degree. Thankfully 4 humidifiers were provided in the closet to help with the dryness and we were able to easily open all windows to quickly cool off yhe condo when it over heated..... We kept the humifiers running 24/7. What can I say though, we are Floridians so not used to such dry heat. Overall, great location and enjoyed our stay.
The condo is across the street from Peak 9 lift. So you can walk 3 mins and ski away. If you walk out the side exit to the Lofts you are right in town. You donât need to drive after park in the under building garage which is so convenient This was my 2nd year here and the unit are perfect.
Great location! Easy walk to NRO concerts and downtown . Clean and fully furnished. Noisy fan from restaurant next door, but all in all a nice place. Thanks !
Park avenue lofts are in a great location in Breckenridge - wonderful views, and a quick walk to the ski lifts. This condo was cozy and it was nice to have a hot tub after skiing.
