This place is perfect inside and out. The landscaping outside is beautiful, and the deck is lovely and comfortable. The entire home is immaculately clean and stocked with everything you could need. Beds are all very comfortable. Location is just wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay!

A wonderful location for guests just outside of Glacier National Park. Our family had a mix of grandparents, younger kids, and hikers aged in between. Would strongly recommend and hope to return on a future vacation!

If you’re planning a trip to Glacier, put Dancing Bear Haus at the top of your list. It feels completely tucked away, yet you’re only minutes from town, with an easy drive into the park. It truly is the best of both worlds. Just up the canyon, the North Fork Flathead River offers great fishing, and there are endless national forest roads to explore with views for days. It’s also a great jumping-off point for a day trip up to Polebridge, the cutest little off-grid town. Don’t leave without trying the huckleberry bear claws at the Mercantile. They’re addictive!Dancing Bear has thought of everything. All the little extras make it feel like your own home. The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the smart TVs were a lovely touch. The new hot tub was the highlight of our trip, and we’re already planning to come back in winter to soak while the snow falls.Between the beargrass, the huckleberry bushes, and the larches turning gold, the grounds felt magical. The landscaped trees and bushes were all labeled, which was so cute. We loved walking around and learning what grows in this part of Montana. It is the perfect fit for anyone who loves the outdoors and wants quiet, comfort, and quick access to Glacier!Truly one of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in, and by the end of the trip, none of us wanted to leave. Thank you so much, Dancing Bear!

The Dancing Bear Haus was a mountain retreat. The property is very clean and decorated very nicely. It’s located very near to Glacier National Park and is also convenient to Columbia Falls and Whitefish.I plan to stay at this property again. Can I give it more than 5 Stars?

The Dancing Bear Haus is nice, clean and cozy. The host has the home stocked with everything a vacation home in the mountains needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We cooked family breakfast and dinners, loved the fireplace and hot tub. The host was super accommodating and quick to respond. We will definitely be back in the years to come.
February 2026 loved our stay even with the lack of snow fall.

The whole house was clean, beautiful, and most importantly, comfortable. The basement apartment was perfect for our 4 teenagers to share and have some space for themselves away from the 6 adults we had in the upstairs unit. The house had all the amenities we required for our trip. Having washers and dryers was convenient for the weeklong trip. The hot tub felt great after a long day of hiking. The large porch and ample seating was great for eating outside or playing a game with the family. The smells of the trees and mountain air was beautiful and refreshing. The house felt pretty secluded and quiet except for some mild road noise from the highway, which was not bad at all. The house is very close (an easy 15-20 minutes) from the West Glacier entrance. Contacting the host with questions was easy and responses were quick and helpful. I hope I get a chance to come back and stay here again someday. Excellent property, excellent hosts, excellent experience!

The house is fantastic…we used the apartment as well. The hosts were great in answering any and all questions prior to and during our stay. The location was great in terms of access to the airport, Whitefish, and West Glacier.
