Hyacinth House is a sweet, small house (720 sf) with a large fenced backyard located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to downtown and an easy bike ride to the University of Oregon. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back deck or walk a few blocks to the Hideaway Bakery or Provisions South. This is a wonderful neighborhood for walking with Amazon Trail a block away, close to parks, and restaurants.
A lovely home, clean with comfortable beds and an amazing host. Host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, sent us a ton of information on activities in the area and responded quickly to our inquiries. Would look to book again in the near future.
House was clean. I think my only concern was the lack of a ârule bookâ and communication of check-out wasnât provided until day of. It would have been nice if we had it ahead of time.
My wife & I spend two weeks each year in Eugene visiting our son and granddaughter, and always stay in a VRBO. This was by far our most enjoyable stay. The location is great, a quiet street, walking distance to a bakery that serves a very good lunch (Hideaway bakery), a good Italian restaurant (Mazzi's) and an Albertsons grocery store, among others. Renee has equipped the house with all the essentials, we cooked quite a few meals here for ourselves and our son and granddaughter. The washer and dryer are high quality, and a good selection of books are provided. Renee reached out to us several times to make sure we had all we needed, and was always quick to respond if we had a question. We will be staying here in the years to come for sure!
Immaculate property, great location, amenities galore! Outstanding communication with host- immediate response to inquiries! Highly recommended- will return, for sure!
Stayed here for the Nike football camp and it was the perfect home base. The location was ideal. Close to the camp, in a safe neighborhood, and near plenty of amenities. Communication with the hosts was easy and pleasant. Highly recommend!
My wife and I loved staying here. We came up for the Oregon spring game and Renee was so helpful. She gave us food recommendations, shops to go too and was really helpful with communicating about the Eugene marathon that was going on.
Everything you could possibly want in a location close to so much! Charming, clean, luxury towels and linens, and a kitchen with everything you could need. Communication with Renee was prompt and easy. Will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Eugene.
This is a very clean house with nice atmosphere and wonderful linens.:). Host offers tea and coffee, which is an awesome touch.Highly recommend for small family or a few friends.
Renee was a perfect host as she addressed checkin and checkout requirements early as well as during our stay. The home was small but perfect for the two of us seniors. There were street repair issues with early construction noise but that was temporary. Although small, the home was comfortable and clean and well stocked with kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom supplies. We have no problem recommending this home.
So much we liked about the Hyacinth House. My daughter loved staying in the second bedroom so much she is not looking forward to returning to her college dorm room. The description as cute and cozy is accurate. The house was so stocked with extras that we didnât expect. We also loved the location. We hope to stay here again!
