An outstanding property with an even more outstanding host. Place was gorgeous, we lead out and equipped with everything I needed the host were very friendly. An exceptional vacation led to a guarantee they will see me again!!!

Shawn is an excellent host. The property is gorgeous. They have thought of everything you might need for a relaxing getaway. The chalet is close to the trails if you are there to ride. Everything was perfect.

This was such a beautiful and amazingly well put together retreat! It was just what we needed to reset for a couple of days. The bath tub was wonderful, and every little touch made this place perfect. The hosts The Cool’s were great people and so refreshing to work with. Shawn gave us so many recommendations and was very accommodating during our entire stay! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place. Super nice people with great communication but they won't bug you and do give you your privacy. Great location to trails for riding. Dog did not like spiral stairs so we did have to carry him in and out but otherwise he loved it too.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Red Dog Chalet!!! We don't get away too often and this is more than we could have asked for. The owners really did think of everything to make your stay feel like home. We were glad to be so close to the trails that we could ride in/ride out. We will be back!!!

The chalet was charming and cozy, clean and well stocked with essentials. The host was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. The trail is just up the road and so convenient to the chalet. We had an amazing time!

I stayed here for a couple days getaway and to see a concert. The owners were very kind, and informative. The place itself could honestly fall into the luxury getaway homes. Stunning landscaping and every detail of the home inside and out was simply above and beyond my expectations.

Red Dog Chalet Amazing

Red Dog Chalet is beautiful. The owners were very accomdating and very friendly. It was great to come back from riding trails and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that was created by the owners. We will be back to enjoy another relaxing week.

For starters shawn is awesome. He accommodated Us in every way possible. He took the time to send us all different locations for the activities we wanted different things in the area just went far above and beyond investing time from his own personal life to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Even went is so far as to let us use his personal property to house our dirt bikes so that place for them. By far this is the most beautiful place I've ever rented on the internet. The way it is set up it feels like it's in a little Resort right off the road in the back of the mountains. If you're going to just relax and get away you don't even have to leave it's absolutely beautiful. I will say that if you're not going to either ride motorcycles or ATVs or just go to relax and get away there might not be much to do just because it is a small mining town so outside of those things there wasn't much for us to do but there are things like a grocery store and Walmart that are in close proximity which is pretty convenient. We are from Baltimore so it was a 7-hour trip but I can't really think of a better place to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The place is clean it's very well maintained I really don't have anything negative to say whatsoever. It was so nice in fact that when I got home my dog seemed to be depressed because she was so used to just laying around outside and running around the property LOL. Great experience. Thank you Shawn we will be back!

Wow from the moment we arrived, I felt an immediate sense of peace and comfort. This place has a warmth that can’t be created by décor alone—it’s clear that a lot of care, intention, and kindness have gone into every corner of it. Everything was so clean, private, & location was great! House was super close to trails and a couple little towns. Communication with the host was great! They made us feel well taken care of and welcomed. It felt a lot less like a rental and more like being a guest in someone’s cherished retreat. Looking forward to returning one day! Cute and convenient

Lovely chalet on well maintained property. The furnishings are comfortable, and the place is quiet. It was warm during my visit so we didn’t take advantage of the hot tub or fire pit. Overall very nice place to stay.A few personal quirks: While I would have liked a shower upstairs (in the chalet), the copper tub is a unique experience. The stairs to the loft were steeper than I expected, but plenty of handles. The LEDs on the AC units are incredibly bright, which was a bit annoying at night.

The Check-in process was a breeze the owners were a delight Extremely clean and great location. However in the elevated cottage the bed it's approximately 10 feet up from the main floor which involves climbing a ladder and if you need the restroom it's a 10 foot climb down in the dark my wife rolled her ankle coming down the latter and we had to leave early Only other thing wish to shower was in the unit itself otherwise very nice place

The Chalet was really cute with a ton of detail and very clean. The host Mr. Cool was amazing with communication and even gave us recommendations for stuff to do. His wife is super sweet and wanted to make sure we were having a great time. The best part was they both welcomed our dogs.
